As an HVACR tech I use the Leatherman Surge and Pheonix PD35 many times every day and just beat the snot out of the "ballistic nylon" sheaths I've been using for almost three decades. This all in one light and tool holster with a place to keep a grease pencil that I use to date every repair is just what the doctor ordered. Merry Christmas and happy New Year to you and yours.
Hi, I actually watched the video twice, good stuff, I have a suggestion though, if I may, buy 1 more for left hand side carry with belt loop holes, more secure and the keypster is on the correct spot

I had a deal to get a custom knife and i dropped the ball because I was so busy with the gardens and work. But i still plan on getting it with a horizontal carry configuration on the belt. Great review brother 👍. I should probably have both. :)
Really interested but can’t decide between the clip on or belt loop style. Do you feel the metal belt clips when moving around? Does it stay close to your hip? You are definitely right about feeling the weight of the bigger multi tools. Makes me glad that I’m not an electrician.
It’s a trade-off… I like the ability to pull it off without removing my belt, but I do feel it pinching sometimes, and have caught myself painfully putting it on and off
