What is funny is that it starts off being a simple finger-gun game. And then it just escalates and escalates, from that to the entire office having to try and take Vasquez (Rhys) down. And then I just died seeing Vasquez (Rhys) actually KICK the table over. That is when it breaks the line - And becomes pure awesome.
I love how the guy on his phone call, the guy on the coffee break and the janitor are the only ones that aren't playing along, and are looking genuinely annoyed by them. They're probably thinking, "oh great, here we go, the accountants are on break again", like it's just an everyday thing for them.
+Andrzej _ The loader bot was my favorite part. I'm so used to BDL 2 and expecting all Loader Bots to immediately start shooting at you, and here they are just moseying about while the entire accounting team and Rhys (Vasquez) are duking it out with imaginary guns and grenades.
+Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen Lol I think it's only the guy on the phone and the janitor, the guy on coffee break definitely isn't taking part but he doesn't look annoyed at all, looks like he is enjoying it to me lol
Guy on coffee break: *sees Rhys coming* “Yeah I’m just gonna move to the-“ Rhys: *fucking kicks his table over for his imaginary gunfight* Guy on coffee break: “aaaand now I’m leaving”
I honestly thought someone just edited out the weapons from their hands. People actually paid to play this. That's not derogatory at all, I'd pay through the ass to watch this in real life.
This it, ladies and gentlemen. This is the greatest moment in video game history. No one will ever be able to top this. They may as well stop trying and put that money towards something silly like ending world hunger. Telltale won.
The Walking Dead has Lee slashing his way through a horde of walkers like nothing's gonna stop him. The Wolf Among Us has Bigby absolutely obliterate Bloody Mary like a BA as a giant wolf. Tales from the Borderlands has.... this. 6/10 no weapon skins -IGN
When this happened I was: "Oh its something to do with mind powers. Thats cool". Then I noticed the janitor and the guy on the coffe break looking at annoyed by them. Then I said: ".........really?....Why cant my work be like this?"
After putting years of your life into this company to try and bring order to Pandora, literally sacrifice yourself for these people and this is what they are doing with their lives 😂
I like that this doesn't feel so out-of-place They had established Hyperion as such a miserable place to work in that the idea that its employees came up with such an over-the-top way to blow off steam while on break isn't far-stretched at all
I love this scene, mostly because that is what my friends an I did constantly. Even as adults there comes a finger battle almost every time we see each other. Finger guns, imaginary knives, grenades, rocket launchers, swords, bows, crossbows, and hand to hand with all strikes pulled before actually connecting. Sometimes we even allow a few to connect, as long as no serious damage might result, a bruise on the body is nothing, you get that from paintball all the time, but as a general rule no contact to the head, nothing towards the groin,. Kidney shots are fair game because we know that we deserve it f or letting them get behind you and not noticing that they are about to strike. All in all it is pretty fun and I'm 24. Word of warning if you are a child do not play this game to the intensity that my friends and I did, we all came out of childhood with some issues, not liking anyone behind you, and knowing that an attack can happen from anywhere. I didn't mention it but we also would try to escape or get behind each other by blending into crowds, enter the masses and it can be hard to tell one person from the next, especially if you ditch a jacket or mess up your hair and you can walk right past people looking for you. Also those paper bullets launched with a rubber band, we called them hornets, can really sting, especially when it's cold and even more so when paperclips are considered fair game to be attached to the hornet. A good chunk of grade school was taken up by this past time, and middle school the rules were modified to be a little less extreme because there is no recess, that said after school is pretty much the same, high school was toned down even more, more setting up an "I could of got you" trap without carrying it through. Once again after school was out it was fair game, add in paintball and airsoft and it was covered. As well as wooden swords dueling each other with home made wooden swords, shaped with sandpaper and actually pretty pointy was common, the worst is when the sword broke off giving it a sharper tip, I still have a scar or two from a stab. It was great fun, but the world we live in today would freak out if it was discovered kids now doing those things. It was already pretty strict, but now days actions I took as a child would at least suspend me. The sad part is that there are complaints that kids don't play outside or with their imagination as much and are instead playing video games, more children would play like they want them to if they weren't so strict on what constitutes unacceptable behavior.
