Funny moments from episode 1, extremely sorry if I missed out on any moments since this is my personal play through I recorded. I don't think I missed many funny moments during this one other than calling Rudiger grease face.
@@xXAzarakXx It was written by 6 people and only one of them, Anthony Burch, was involved in Borderlands series before. Telltale Games might have had terrible management, mediocre coders and artists, but some of the writers who worked with them were really good and the only reason they enjoyed any kind of success.
If you saved loader bot by not choosing the self destruct, he comes back towards the end and says, "Righteous father, I have found you" and then his landing causes you to fall through the broken ground and he tells you "try to roll with the fall" lol. He's hilarious.
Tales from the Borderlands is pretty funny and probably the best Telltale series to date. But the Wolf Amongst Us really had me in stitches, because I played as a dumb sheriff who would hit everyone in the face. I never laughed so much when playing a videogame :p
I thought this one was way funnier but I was laughing a lot with Wolf Among Us, especially since I gave money to faith to get a cab and she ended up dead and I was broke for the rest of the game
Bandit: Sorry i realize this is rude but i really don't like your face, Not one bit. Bandit: Sorry to inconvenience you Vaughn: Yeah you should b-- Bandit: I WILL HIT YOU
Troy Baker always voices my favorite characters: Male Voice 1 in Saints Row The Third, Booker Dewitt, and now Rhys. Man, I seriously can’t get enough of this guy
You forgot to add the part where Sasha was trying to throw Rhys out the van and the bounty hunter was like "Enough with the lies, tell me what actually happened" then Rhys was like "No, that actually happened" and Fiona admits it too
9:07 This is definitely pretty funny, but I've always liked the option where you say "we tried to throw them out" in which it immediately cuts to Sasha and Fiona trying to literally push Rhys out of a moving van before it freezes: Masked Guy: "Stop with the embellishments! Tell me what really happened!" Rhys: "No that's exactly how it went down." Fiona: "Yeah we tried to kill them." Masked Guy: "Oh...okay. Carry on."
Because bossanova is a 12 year old kid playing call of duty and got shot across-the the map lol littraly I felt bad when zero stabbed him I really really really and the last really hate you sounded like a upset child 🤣
too bad my boy salvador or any of the other vault hunters from the second game besides zer0 weren't in this game. i would've loved to see some kreig scenes
I really wish someone made 5 movies of this game (1 for each episode obviously), it would no doubt be successful and is the perfect balance of comedy and action! Also with stuff like 'break his heart' and 'blow his mind' they could show both cause they are both brilliant! (And i would love to play Rhys or August which ik is just a dream 😂)
BL3 is a very, very good game speaking of level design and gameplay but the story is sadly atrocious and made me cringe for the whole campaign, tales on the other hand was well written and the jokes were actually funny (and cheap poop humor references were kept to a minuimum) , I cared a lot for the characters, thing that didn't happen at all in BL3 when an important person went missing
It’s strongly implied they’re still together (photo on Sasha on Rhys’ desk, Rhys getting worked up over someone, presumably Sasha’s, disappearance). There’ll probably be a DLC involving the Tales characters down the road.
Only a little bit. He did a couple of scenes/jokes in Episodes 3-5 (some great stuff like Handsome Jack and Rhys in the ruins of Helios, and some cringe stuff like the corporate misogyny joke in Episode 4). For 90% of it, this was done by the Telltale writers.
