velociraptor4you actually you were right, while the advertising line is indeed the other white meat. the wolf clearly says the other Lite meat. perhaps due to copyright infringement.
I was one of those lucky kids who actually saw this original airing of the last episode on accident. My love for Eek the Cat, Bobcat Goldthwait (who played Moxxy Pirate back in the CN days prior to being Pain in Hercules), Brad Garrett (2 Stupid Dogs' Big Dog), Cam Clarke (80s Leo & Simba in the Timon & Pumbaa show), and Charles Alder (who was of course Cow & Chicken and the Red Guy which the latter type of voice was used here) with Jim Cummings also guest starring as the judge hooked me into this finale of the show, despite me too young for it. I guess growing up with Duckman and a few violent movies didn't bother me as much as it should as I enjoyed every moment of this episode. Thank you for the find.
I came home once and saw the very ending of this when I was really young. I watched every episode religiously trying to find it again. But it never reran x.x
This is not a good closer to the series but obviously they were notified that this is the last episode so they didn't give a damn. 20:30 the hitting of the rake by stepping on it is often a cartoon comedic effect. It actually happened to me in real life and yes, it does hurt.
Nelvana, the studio that worked on this episode, also did the kid-friendly animated version _Tales from the Cryptkeeper_ . Try even once to compare the two.
That's a relief, it was only the trees; I'm glad though, it's just the breeze. Despite my girth, it's large mass in which; Seeing such dark reality, satisfies my manly itch.
For many voice hack-tors, Saturday mornings were limited to sappy "family en-terror-tainment". Why, you couldn't even say "booger". Yet in this *grim* fairytale, you're allowed to curse like a warlock!
Wow, lot of voice talents here! Bobcat Goldthwait (Wolfe) did Pain's voice in the Disney Hercules TV show. Cam Clarke (Dudley) was Leonardo from the 1987 Ninja Turtles and Ickis from Aaah!Real Monsters. Charlie Adler (Smokey) was Ed Bighead on Rocko's Modern Life. Brad Garrett (Drinky) was of course Robert from Everybody Loves Raymond. And Jim Cummings (Judge) has done too many cartoon voices to list.
there is but it didn't last long, most of the series is based of stories from original 50's comic and the rest is from other EC books like Shock Suspenstories! and Vault of Horrors. You will be surprise how acurate the tv episodes are to the source.
Haven't thought about this episode for a long time! Thanks for posting it! It's definitely one of my favorites! So......Nelvana Studios did the animation! Always wondered about that! Also often wondered what ish of Tales From The Crypt-or The Vault Of Horror or The Haunt Of Fear-this episode was taken from, but I very highly doubt that it was in any of the comic books. I very strongly believe it was written for the show.
Not really Nelvana. They only helped add the sound effects and some writing. The animation was mostly handled in South Korea. Not to mention that this short was directed by the same guy who created Sledgehammer O'Possum, Jamal the Funny Frog and Yuckie Duck

this is what an animator controlled cartoon looks like. pat ventura is the best. just look up yuckie duck "short orders". funny too, cuz bill kopp (the other director of this episode) also does the voice of yuckie duck.
Cam Clarke…Leonardo on “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” Charlie Adler…Buster Bunny on “Tiny Toon Adventures” Corey Burton…Spike, Brawn, Sunstreaker and Shockwave on “Transformers” Jim Cummings…Tigger, Winnie the Pooh and Darkwing Duck They had some really talented people in this cartoon.
