Early work from Brad my aunt first taped this on VHS back in 1992 off of HBO it is now a classic nice that Brad is now in a blockbuster Oscar contender like Once Upon A Time in Hollywood
So many things in this episode I loved! The Suped up fifty seven chevy Brad Pitt playing a bad ass psycho, and of course the trippy ironic music of Warren Zevon throughout the episode! I am forever grateful for this episode for introducing me to his music because he was truly so talented, and underrated especially as a guitarist
Wow its Brad Pitt in his prime in this thriller episode playing a James Dean kind of guy. A road warrior without a cause. This one of the best Brad roles next to my ultimate " Interview With A Vampire ". Watching this makes me wanna go into my game catalog & play Need For Speed Heat.
Not a bad story, but it sorta felt a bit too mundane for a 'Crypt' ep. Had Joe been haunted by the ghost of the person that died because of him in his past, or had there been some supernatural element to Joe winning, or even his car, i'd say maybe. This was just a great story that still felt it was lacking in the Crypt department. Love the custom '57 Chevy Joe drives at the end :>
There was a little bit. Like how did he get from the mustang in the driveway to his car in no time. How did he know the cop’s story or where the daughter worked?
Brad Pitt is a great actor. I consider myself lucky to witness his amazing performances. Back then when he was young he had exceptional performances when he plays crazy/neurotic roles.
