I witnessed lights in a rock quarry just behind a friends house in North Branch, Minnesota back in the mid nineties. The quarry is on a border of state owned forest. In November around 6 am, still dark & since it was deer hunting season we at first thought hunters... but the lights were not only red but rotated to yellow, neon green, green & blue. Moved up & down & back & forth. So we then thought it was an ATV. We opened the patio doors & could still see the lights but it was completely silent. An amazing experience i will never forget. Thank you Mr. Peters, love your work ❤️

That's wild. A similar 'lights show' happened at a granite quarry on NY-Ct border in the 90s (4xs total since then, most recently 8yrs ago) when camping in the surrounding forest of ole New England.

I seen a translucent black and white Chinese dragon 35 years ago while awake late at night. It flew in through the closed window. It's still something I don't understand or even know how real it was but I was fully aware and awake and it still gives me chills to think about it.
@jessica2brook

Chinese and Japanese dragons are very similar. Do you remember details of its appearance that made you think it was a Chinese dragon specifically?
@americanmonster8342
@americanmonster8342 Год назад
@J No not specifically. It was the large head with a snake like body and movement. It was about 3 feet long. It appeared to fly in through the window, hover over my bed for a moment with an undulating movement. And then it flew into my closet threw the closed door and disappeared.
@jessica2brook
@jessica2brook Год назад
@@americanmonster8342 I believe you. You should look up pictures of Chinese dragons VS Japanese dragons and see which one appears more similar to what you saw. It might point you in the right direction as to its possible meaning. (My mom is Chinese that is why I asked about Chinese VS Japanese dragons).

Hey Hammer Time, I tell you what I saw myself. I was remolding a cabin in N. E. Ga. near Helen Ga. A tornado come thru headed east I believe. It was a class 5 and very destructive. There was a souvenir shop called the Scottsman. It was 6 to 8 miles from me and was totally gone. Anything it hit directly just disappeared, gone and no debry. I stopped at a gas station not long after leaving and found a lil china ashtray that had the Scottsman wrote on it. I showed it to the clerk and she told me they was finding them in Greenville S. C. 2hours away. Unbroken like mine and folks saw them fall and hit the ground. Now a few minnows or frogs would be no trouble for a cloud like that. Thanks

Love your channel and stories about Canadian folklore!!❤ I feel we would have a great time chatting if ever the opportunity presented itself💯 I’ve commented on some of your other videos here on RU-vid over the years but rarely do because I don’t like putting any kind of spotlight on me. But I especially love your tales of the Fay as I am Acadian Scotch from CB island and the Fay make up a good portion of my islands folk tales. Not to sound like a complet😂e arsehole, and I only say this really just for your own personal knowledge, and for future reference; ‘Mabou’ sounds like ma-boo. Originally named ‘Malabokek’ or ‘Malabo’ for short by thé Mi’kmaq meaning ‘place where two rivers meet’. Again, I love your channel and have always been a huge fan of your books. Keep up the great work and I hope to learn more from your work on our cross cultural folklore that seem to intertwine and turn into similar stories. Super interesting ☮️💟

I take exception to making more of the recent balloon incident and less notice of the facts: The Chinese balloons were shot down where they would not interfere with populated areas but left to fly over Canada for study; Official story is the Chinese made a stink about 'how dare you not let us have our balloons back!' They weren't too happy about CA and the US blocking the balloon signals either. But if one is paying attention to recent events, the Chinese have been playing chicken with US and Allied forces, evidently in an attempt to get the US to shoot the hell out of them. Another thing that won't happen without the Chinese shooting first; but we're liable to see war if the Chinese don't back off.

Yes these fish have eyes. I had a really weird thing happen once about 20 years ago. I was driving on I90 east towards Chicago, technically in Chicago near o'hare. Sunroof open on my car and a fish just like the ones in that picture landed on my head and bounced into my passenger seat. It was not alive but it was fresh, as if had died on impact. I was never able to explain that one😅. There were huge storms in Chicago at the time, about 15 miles away but no rain on me, just large thunderclouds overhead. No big trucks or bridges where it could have fallen from. Very light traffic at all. If someone threw it that would be an awesome shot. The fish appeared intact, like no damage from a bird holding it. Also I could not identify it. It looked like a big sardine, like the ones in those pictures. The odds of it landing in my sunroof tho, wow.

Question for my neighbors to the north: Do Canadians typically pronounce the word "iron" with two distinct syllables, i.e. "eye-run"? The late great Norm Macdonald used to say it that way on his podcast, much to the annoyance of his American guests. Thanks from the US for the great video 🍁🦅

Being First Nations myself I've learned that we have to be very careful who we ask questions to. Spirits and demons all come from one dark place. True answers lie within knowing Yahweh and his son Jesus. We are more receptive to spirits because we were once one with Earth. And this planet was gifted to Satan after his rebellion.

For that dude that said there is no elevator in the water spout, how do you or anyone else know that a extremely srong storm and water spout combine and those fish are either sucked up and hell they may somewhat swim up. To say that he knows there is no mechanism to which the fiah can be put into the clouds is arrogant. And not true, something is pulling small fish into a storm cloud and then they're rained back to earth.
