hey guys! if you're looking for the next episodes, ep 3 should be up on Thursday 9th, as today&tomorrow I am taking a short break from editing/posting due to personal reasons. sorry for the delay but this is something I cannot avoid!
Morgan's charecter is a tragic one: She grew up in tragedy, let her anger fester into hatred and this hatred led to Wing and his fellow villagers to suffer. Along with countless others across her shipbuilding empire across the entire galaxy and the ecological genocide of entire worlds to help fuel the ever-hungry Imperial Navy. I will say this though, the corvusians where a bit harsh in judging her when She returned empty-handed: she did build those walls after all. Presumibly, She also hired those guards that were mentioned as a form of private security to deter criminals. It was Moff Isdain that rejected her proposals, Morgan was just trying to secure a deal.
@namlehoang9227 he doesn't have the 7th fleet yet. The 1st through 12th fleets are reserved for the best of Grand Admirals, plus there is typically only that many.
Thrawn pointing out the vulnerabilities in the Empire that inevitably led to its downfall just proves once again why he is one of the greatest antagonists in sci-fi and fantasy history. Just like Tommy Shelby from Peaky Blinders, *He Thinks.*
All we know is she was the pitchman and initial backer. Does not make her an engineer, just someone who knows good engineers and supports their projects.
Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate abe hate leads to suffering. I love Morgan’s shorts titles are referencing Yoda.
This one is so good! I love how, although "nothing" happens, this sole conversation between Morgan and Thrawn had repercussions all the way to the Ahsoka series, and a huge impact in how Rebels transpired.
When I saw Rukh I knew Thrawn wasn't far behind but when he started talking and was already there I got the happy goosebumps. His entrances and presence rival that of Vader and Palps. Also just hearing the Beskar going through the air and blocking/striking was ear candy for me, it just made me miss it even more. Nice reactions as always. May the Force be with you, Always.🔥💯💚💚✌️
Fun fact: Vader actually liked the TIE Defender even making recommendations for modfications. In hind sight, Vader would've praised or commended Morgan for presenting a good project that would benefit the Empire greatly as well as making new ship for him to play with should he ever meet her. Sadly, it didnt happen
Thank you, Louise! Your enthusiasm frickin rocks! I watch several reaction channels. More than I thought are down on Tales Of The Empire, saying that it wasn't good. I disagree. I enjoyed all six episodes, and thought they provided adequate back story. You are easily my favorite reactor. Keep up the great work!
When Thrawn was promoted from Commander to Commodor, he recieved his iconic Star Destroyer. Here we are in between that promotion and that of Fleet Admiral, at that point the Seige of Batton happened which led to Emperor Palpatine apointing Thrawn with the position of Grand Admiral. For context, there could only be twelve Grand Admirals at any given time. Just as so there could only be twenty Moffs, baisicly Sector Governors, at any given time period.
Thrawn is always a welcome surprise and this cameo is no exception. I hope we see more of him in Ahsoka season two and in the Dave Filoni movie. Because in that movie we’re going to get a real Star Wars villain. Not like Kilo Ren, Snoke and Resurrected Emperor Palpatine. The sequel trilogy did not handle them well. Star Wars the clone wars Star Wars Rebels, the Mandalorian, the bad batch, the book of Boba Fett, the Ahsoka series, the original trilogy, the prequel trilogy, Rogue One, Solo, Tales of the Jedi and now Tales of the Empire on the other hand knows how to handle villains well. I want to see that in future Star Wars stories.
So the Empire shot down her proposal, but then sent Thrawn with an apology. Isn't that cute....... Also, according to Rebels, Tarkin and the Emperor preferred the TIE Defender to the Death Star; they only finished the latter and cut off the former after a bunch of kids destroyed Thrawn's operation, which was horribly embarrassing.
Everything was going to Thrawn's favor even to the point Vader favored the Tie Defender and made recommendations for its modifications as well. It wasnt a bunch of kids that destroyed the operation, it is purely the arrogance and stupidity of Imperials. If it wasnt for Governor Pryce's tunnel visioning on dealing with the rebels and the dumb decision to blow up the fuel depot while Thrawn is on leave, the Tie Defender Project would be approved and be on mass-produce by now.
@@primecoconut4204 If it wasn't for those meddling kids, Governor Pryce wouldn't have gone nuts on the factory in the first place. Phoenix Squadron destroyed the TIE Defender project; they even intended to, getting a whole Rebel squadron killed in the process. By destroying the TIE Defender project, they unwittingly caused the destruction of Alderaan.
Let's be honest, the TIE Defenders would've been a much better use of resources than the Death Star. The Empire probably would've won the GCW with a few squadrons of those.
I like to think Morgan actually was trying to gain the favor of the people, so the expensive TIE Defender design would have actually brought prosperity.
Seeing more of Pellaeon was amazing. He's one of my fave characters in Legends - hope we get so much more of him and his beautiful moustache going forward.
The only thing I'm confused about is now they've retconned the Thrawn book (Treason) as Peleaon at least then didn't join Thrawns Fleet until he was a Grand Admiral after SPOILER He defeated Admiral Savit (idk the spelling) and Paleaon then joined his fleet imminently before they went back to the Lothal system where Ezra exiled himself and Thrawn to Piridea.
The way I see it is Paelleon got a temporary transfer somewhere inbetween this time period and the events of the novel Thrawn: Treason. As a side note: Paelleon's rank placque is that a Senior Leftenent in the Imperial Army. Moff Isdain Is wearing a Gran Moff placque instead of a ten-tiled, three Blue, three Red and two Yellow squared insignia One would see on a Moff.
Thrawn Is a Space Gaston when he bullies Anakin! Thrawn: What's the matter, Lord Vader? Too impatience and anger to be a Jedi Knight? Didn't the Jedi including your master Kenobi TEACH you How to be wise without anger? (Anakin just stared down sadly but then Ezra arrives in time) Ezra: No! Thrawn don't do that! Thrawn:(At Darth Vader) Were you be a friendship with Ezra, Vader? Did you honestly think he'd want you when he had someone like me? It's over, Lord Vader! Ezra Bridger is mine!
