I'm here because Mr. Frank Gruber was the "story supervisor" on this series. That likely means that he cowrote the script with Mr. Butler. Mr. Gruber was a formidable and prolific author in the height of the days of pulp fiction and, later, paperbacks (Bantam, Ballatine, etc.) Gruber wrote alongside Raymond Chandler ("Double Indemnity"), Dashiell Hammet ("Thin Man") and Erle Stanley Gardner. Of course there were dozens of other excellent authors in all genres: crime, sci-fi, romance, westerns, and spy . . . uh, anyone remember James Bond? `

Great script here with great performances by all cast. Diane Brewster was a great character actor. 500,000 USD .in greenbacks as portrayed here would have been rare. Specie aka hard currency was still preferred by almost everyone.

I don't like how it's it's streched 35%. It's almost unwatchable.

Jim Hardy’s stunt double looks nothing like him and the outfit is not the same half the time and it’s so obvious .😆
