The best track of Talk Talk, in a perfect rendition at Veronica's Rocknight. I remember staying up 'till about 4 am for this concert that was live on tv in Holland. Talk Talk was mesmerizing. And still is.
Saw this live on Dutch TV in the middle of the night when I was 16 back in '84. Must be one of the best live performances ever. My videotape of it has long worn out so praise to youtube and its users for sharing this with us all!
His voice, this song is like a string connecting under your skin what could be called to your soul, so bitter sweet, so deep, so intense. Thanks Mark was with us and will be with us due to his timeless music.
I heard this live and was just mesmerized at how good and yet different from the studio version this is. The music runs the tension, discord and angst like an emotional spectrum that is just wonderfully well composed tapestry.
Every time I come back to hear this and many other live performances, it’s like visiting another world for a moment. Such atmosphere and always love how Mark got “lost” in his performances..one of the greats, wish I could have seen him live!

Love this band , love this song so much. I,'m a big fan of Mark, Paul and Lee since i saw them live in 1985, 1986 and 1987. The best band ever without a doubt.

Wow, the two keyboard players play a total of 3 Roland Jupiter 8 synthesizers. Combined with the Yamaha CP-80 piano and the Roland JX-3P (for the lush pad) that's an incredible stack of gear!!

Questo pezzo poi è incredibile, quando sono giù di corda lo ascolto ed entro in un'altra dimensione, oggi a 47 anni come a 13 anni quando mi ascoltavo tutto l'album pancia all'aria sul letto, cuffie ed occhi chiusi; mi ricordo che ascoltarlo da bambino fu quasi un esperienza mistica, ricordo ancora quelle sensazioni, non ho mai più ascoltato niente che mi emozionò così tanto, ancora oggi mi rifugio nei Talk Talk. Se potessi portarmi con me un solo brano nell'aldilà mi porterei sicuramente questo.
