A haunting composition & right up there with Talk Talk finest work. I believe Mark played the mournful melodica on this track.....now that it's over.....very sadly, but what a legacy.
Many assume that it was Mark Feltham that played that piece on harmonica due to his association with TT but yes you are totally correct it was MH playing the melodica. Appears even more special knowing it was himself.
What he gave is what still gives us today. So very underrated. This is one legendary musician.still love him more today at 72 now will always b my favorite & blessed for being glad to have his great music that voice is totally killer!..... 👍🇺🇸🙏🦊

One of my favourite songs of this band. By the way, there is a mistake in your printed lyrics. He doesn't say "Time it's time to live through the pain" but "Time it's time to live for living". I've seen this mistake on other sites too.
@@sergioleone8370 Nope. He sounds very clear to me. Look at the official lyrics, i.e., the actual album booklet containing his hand-written lyrics. It couldn't be clearer than that if you have trouble understanding his accent.

I can see how the two sentences could sound similar to you, but as I said, refer to his actual hand-written lyrics. It's all there in black and white. Can we just leave it now?
I really like this video but I’m interested in the message you intended. There’s plenty of new life and death, references to the passing of time, seasons, despair, happiness. But what was thinking about the woman and the robot? Doesn’t fit in somehow?
