Think how terrifying this is for Shazam. The man he sees as a mentor, idolizes, emulates, holds as the paragon for all things heroic & a man he believes has never led him astray is strangling him, freezes his mouth shut then bores two holes into his head via super concentrated beams of heat just because a question was asked if they were really doing the right thing
And bringing up his deceased wife which shows how triggering knowing Lois wouldn't want this life for him is to him. Like heaven forbid imagine if he killed Prime Superman and brought Prime Lois to his reality, God if he killed that Lois because she spoke out.....my God
My question is, why didn't he punch the mf in his eyes and fly away to the Batman side, Billy had Wisdom and Wisdom takes a lot of knowledge, Billy had a lot of knowledge to knock him tf out🤨
@@JoeMama-vd1yyjustice is blind- justice applies to everyone, no matter any features about them justice isn’t heartless- Justice isn’t cruel or unjust. This suggests that Superman’s punishments where unjust. correct me if im wrong.
@@JoeMama-vd1yyjustice applies to everyone... rich or poor, black or white, etc. But it's not suppose to be heartless... it shouldn't be unjust, cruel or cold
That really goes to show Superman is truly blind by anger and unable to move past his grief Just like what Batman said Clark is unable to see past his grief He needs time to grief But at this point of Injustice 2 Superman is no longer able to move past his grief He is still haunted by her death and killing his unborn child😢
This reminds me of a quote attributed to Abraham Lincoln: "Most men can handle adversity. If you want to really test a man's character, give him power."
@@ranaoblivious2122Getting power doesn't change a person's character, it revealx it. Many people woulc be awful if they could. Give them power and now they can act out their worst impulses in a way the whole world can see.
I get what you're saying, but believe me, someone like Red Hood, who doesn't have the same moral and ethnic understanding of Batman and doesn't mind resorting to very violent solutions, tells you that you have gone too far, that's exactly when you would truly know that you have really, majorly fucked up in a way no one could have.
Am I the only one annoyed of the fact that Shazam is one of the few Justoce League members that has proven to match Superman and he's just treated like a joke here!??!!?
me too, but it's not totally a joke since shazam always paid respect to superman and he didn't think that superman would kill him only because he mentioned lois. also he was still a kid
Dr. Fate: You once brought hope. Superman: Now I bring Justice. Dr. Fate: Now you bring despair. Superman: To CRIMINALS. Dr. Fate: To reconciled villains and children.
@@Golden-pd9pu I mean I thought he just kept lasering to make sure billy was dead. It also only took a couple of seconds to laser through his skull. If he was transformed then yeah it would be complete bs.
@@thomasgallagher2628 fair enough but they also said he was a kid at the that time and he looks a little old to be considered a child while being lasered lol
Dr Fate spittin facts like always. Justice is blind because ideally it doesn't judge you on your appearance or physical traits. It judges you on your actions. It should hold no prejudice. Unfortunately too many people mistake blindness with heartlessness.
The weirdest part is how they say ‘casualties of war’ or ‘sacrificed for the greater good’ as if it wasn’t a line crossed. No-one is buying that, everyone knows he didn’t die in battle or anything. What’s the point with such a flimsy lie?
@@parham1023 I feel as if it just destroys the whole idea and character of Superman. He’s supposed to represent that even though he is incredibly strong, he uses his abilities for the good of humanity, and he protects a species that is different from his own. Superman is not just strong with his abilities, but also mentally strong against being tempted to kill or do anything immoral. That is what makes him Superman.
@@ratzworththeratemperor3329 he was raised as a human. Everyone has their own breaking points and the death of Lois and the unborn child were the catalyst.
I really don't know how Shazam wasn't a dead give away for who were the good guys and who were the bad guys. The same way that in real life people just can't fet the hint that things are going too far.
Faces a ruthless villain is bad enough but to face a hero who still believes what he's doing is right is even worse since he will inevitably get worse with each failure and make it harder for the others to change their mind I'm genuinely impressed with flash's then later green lantern's efforts for redemption.
Green lantern was an opportunistic asshole imo. When he saw the regime would fall he surrendered and began his journey to redeem himself or whatever when not even 5 minutes earlier he was fine with wiping cities off the map to “be made an example out of”. He was also okay with calling Shazam’s murder a casualty of war when he knew Superman’s power had gone to his head and anyone who questioned him would be murdered. The only reason green lantern “changed” was because he realized his side was losing so he surrendered, “became a new man” and faced virtually no consequences for any of the atrocities he was accomplice to. Had Superman stayed in power Green Lantern would have kept following him around. He was a disloyal bastard who went along with Superman’s tyranny to save his own skin without giving a shit about the billions who suffered from it and when he saw that Superman was going down he switched sides and started “redeeming himself” so he could once again save his own skin
Injustice Superman was a heartless bastard. The question is, Shazam has the power of 5 dieties. Why the hell did he not break free and fight Superman? Including the fact Superman is weak against magic....
What gets me upset about Shazam's death is he only spoke. He didn't even attack Superman and got killed. Like I'd feel sad but less upset if they actually fought, but Billy wasn't even given a chance
@@accurategamer7085 No he doesnt.Homelander is a Moralless monster who has no humanity. Also only injustice superman has a little homelander in him normal superman is the best
I believe Superman stopped him saying Shazam for two reasons. 1. The lightning is magic, which can hurt Superman 2. Superman didn’t want to have to see who he was really killing
“Casualties of War” is one of the worst excuses you could ever give for straight up liquifying a child’s brain for simply speaking against you, when he was not trying to start a fight or even defend himself, he was just trying to turn back into a child to show Superman what he was about to do. And I can’t remember if it was the terrible movie adaptation or the comics that Superman deflected the arrow from Ollie into his own dad on accident, but even if he didn’t in the comics, why didn’t he just catch the arrow? The man who moves faster than sound couldn’t see an arrow coming at him and his parents standing awfully close by? Tell them to go to ANOTHER ROOM, it’s a FORTRESS! Both of those deaths are entirely on Clark.
That is why a hero needs is personal life seprated if super man never reveal his identity to other super heroes and didn't follow the no killing rule on villans then he will become a super man what we called if you have the power to eliminate the threat you must act i also include bat man to this he was also guilty for following this rule they should learn from optimus prime the true hero a master peice a good transformer who remain in my heart as a great hero not like them
When batman uses kryptonite to beat him, it's fair, you hail Batman for being smart but when superman acts smart to win suddenly he isn't fair 😂😂😂. Even if you don't like Superman, this just goes to show that if the writing isn't shitty most of the villains that get the better of him wouldn't stand a chance.
Most iconic mentions of Shazam: "Two words: Billy Batson." ~ The Flash, "Killing children is Never Okay." ~ Also The Flash, "Didn't stop You with Shazam!" ~ Blue Beetle.
If you don't know Shazam is Billy Batson a Ten year old child i think, He was confronting superman until Superman grabbed his neck and Burned and destroyed his eyes and freezing his mouth so he doesn't say Shazam, Because if he will show his true form aka his Child form But superman didn't care
Billy was 12 when he became Shazam, then 15 when meropolis was destroyed, Meaning he was 20 when Superman killed him. Whoever wrote the dialogue forgot about the five year time skip like Daenerys forgot about the Iron Fleet. Hmm, did D&D work on this?
At this point Superman should have been killed too. Giving the excuse that killing a child and their friend was a casualty of war when it was really his own anguish and ruthelessness that killed them both is something that can not be forgiven.
I don’t think many people realise just how evil Superman actually is Not only is he a child killer but he’s also a mass genocide mongerer on a scale that not many other video game villains have managed to measure up to
Superman had a few solid points but doesn't mean he didn't turn into a mad man. He literally pulled a joker move right there by killing Shazam like that. My biggest takeaway from this story was Joker won. If batman were to successfully kill Superman somehow, Joker wins again. Love Injustice.
Phoenix (My OC): You agreed with Superman murdering Shazam? Cyborg: Casualty of War Phoenix: So you have chosen death! (Two eyes become four before the battle begins)
Oh I'd love to see Spawn deal with Injustice Superman Spawn: what you did sickens me to the core Superman: how can you compare us Spawn: I've never killed children/You're no better than Billy Kincaid
I really hate how they had to make this superman irredeemabley evil so they can justify the "killing bad guys is wrong" philosophy. Half the heroes especially him and wonderwoman act extremely out of character. The worst part is a lot of people think this is how superman is or all u have to do is kill lois and he turns evil.
After listening to Superman in the first clip. He's insane. He simply calls Shazam a casualty of war. Shazam is a child. Idk about this time lines Shazam but I would have reason to believe superman is truly a villain to not care for not only a fellow hero but a child who looked up to him.
