Talking Cars in a Maruti Suzuki Ertiga 

I genuinely haven't seen any other automotive yt channel giving such detailed content. The engine codes of 90's cars!!! The beginning of this segment!!! Cars that I haven't even heard of!!! Just wooow.... I could never miss any of your episodes. I will somehow find time to watch these videos. Big fan. Btw I myself have an XL6 manual. Running smoothly for almost 2 years. Just 1 problem, avg mileage won't go above 13. But still love the car sooo much.

Ertiga looks very proportionate and its design seems to be classy as well...It will age well like most Maruti cars..

Bought an Ertiga because we are a family of 5 and none of the 5 seaters weren't quite comfortable on the second row. Still runs like a butter

I bought the XL6 in 2021 and decided it over the Ertiga mainly due to the reason that the second row has captian seats. I have kids and in case on a trip they need to get into or out of the third row, there's no need for the people sitting in the second row to get out and fold the second row seats to make way. The aisle between the second row captain seats is wide enough for even adults to get to the third row seats. We also use the second row aisle to keep bags. Both the Ertiga and the XL6 are very practical cars and the new 2022 ones only got much better.

I own 2019 ertiga and it’s great car. Spacious and practical with the flexible seating options. Also my elderly parents find it is easy to get in and out of the car, as it is neither too high nor too low. Only thing I wish is it should have come with sliding doors as the rear doors are large and need to be careful white opening in tight spaces. I know Indians hate sliding doors but they were extremely practical in an MPV. I found them extremely useful in cars like Honda Odyssey, Toyota Sienna etc while I was abroad.

One of the best cars out there, that u can buy...it's Unrivalled in the segment...Go for it😇

Own a 2014 Ertiga Zxi which I am selling now. Went through the entire range till 16 lakhs and couldn't find any other automatic which offers 1. Good space and flexibility 2. Time tested automatic gear box 3. Reasonable mileage 4. Affordable service and decided to book the new Zxi+ again. Though would have loved bit more peppier engine and better styled interior which Maruti could have given

Without being physically part of it, the entire conversation feels that I was also with you two during the entire ride. I am certain, I am not the only one who have felt so. That apart, IMHO, Ertiga and XL6 have underpowered engines, whatever ‘jet’ the engines are named. My neighbor owns both, but he’s happy!

Ertiga is a very good MUV which is priced good and also veh comes with lots of space , comfort and features

Why we will choose a 7 seater SUV over a 7 seater MPV as Indians is because we need one car which will do everything for us. We (Indians) are passionate about taking our whole family with us for a trip and feel happy, take our friends for an off road drive and impress our friends, take your wife and kids for a trip but you have to feel safe and don't want to get stuck in the middle of a jungle(Just an overthinking we do) because your car is not an SUV. We need all these traits in our car but we do not have the budget to buy different proper cars for these different purposes. So we will go for a 7 seater SUV by compromising on the ride quality and even ready to put a sack of sand in the boot of the SUV ;-) to reduce the bumpiness if driven alone (Jugaad…)...

I own an ertiga.. കുഞ്ഞിന് 3 മാസം പ്രായമുള്ളപ്പോൾ പുറകിൽ സീറ്റ്‌ മടക്കി ബെഡ് ആക്കി തുടങ്ങിയ യാത്ര ആണ്. 2 ആൾ, 4 ആൾ ഒക്കെ ലോങ്ങ്‌ പോവാൻ ബെസ്റ്റ് ആണ്. പെട്ടെന്ന് overtake ചെയ്ത് പോവാനൊന്നും പറ്റൂല. Drive fun കിട്ടൂല.. But utility.. പെർഫെക്ട്.. റൂം എടുക്കാതെ വരെ നമുക്ക് വേണേൽ പോവാം. ഇപ്പൊ CNG കൂടെ കയറ്റി അടിപൊളി ആയി ഓടിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നു. പുറകിലെ സീറ്റ്‌ ഉപയോഗിക്കാൻ പറ്റുന്ന ഒരേയൊരു വണ്ടി ഇതായിരിക്കും, ഈ സെഗ്മന്റിൽ.. ആ നടുക്കത്തെ സീറ്റിൽ arm rest ഒക്കെ താഴ്ത്തി സീറ്റ്‌ ഒക്കെ ചെരിച്ചു ഇരിക്കാനുള്ള സുഖം.. ❤️❤️

Cool & detailed presentation of the segment & the car. Rating 5 stars ! Would beg to differ on a point though. 'Ist Gen Ertiga was not a major success due to completion' is a wrong statement. Ertiga was lunched in 2012 while Mobilio/BRV/Style/Evalia/Lodgy/Enjoy ( you guys missed the poor Enjoy) came between 2013-2015. None of them could dent the sales of Ertiga except Mobilio that also for just 2-3 months. Second Gen is a super hit where Maruti cleverly improved on the shortcomings of 1st Gen.

Xl6 are great cars . The 4 cylinder petrol feels slightly underpowered with full luggage and people . Mileage average is strictly under 15kmpl even on highways. That's what we got on a banglore trip. Handling on corners is not that confidence inspiring but apart from that it's so good . Quality of interiors is good , it's not like other Suzuki tin can feel , it feels safe . Overall it's the no brainer option under 15 lakhs when it comes to mpvs.

They haven't delivered the car I booked in May... and I think most of the people who booked vehicle are still waiting ... while being the fact they are going to launch a new model with 6 airbags ??
