You HAVE to see this in the beginning of Stop Making Sense (DVD). His outfit and the way he presents it in the concert movie. "I hate people that aren't polite" great line. That whole movie is FIRE.

Talking Heads are a classic group! David Byrne is amazing. Check out Road To Nowhere, Take Me To The River, Once In A Lifetime, Burnin Down The House. Byrne and his wife were not only in this band together but were in another band together as well.

Best all time Halloween song is "D.O.A." by Bloodrock. Yeah, Byrne was a little weird, you should watch some of their concert footage--which puts me in mind of Sparks--performances were kind of funny and a little spooky. And if you want really weird, try Bryne's album with Brian Eno, My Life in the Bush of Ghosts. "Jezebel Spirit" is awesome.

I usually turn the channel if i hear this. It is good, but doesn't really hit. I did enjoy your breakdown of it tonight. Good for Halloween. It really is in a lot of movies... Kinda liked the very beginning (don't know if i ever listened in it's totality). Kinda like the ba ba bas... His voice is different and kinda cool. I like their song "Wild Wild Life"! (Not Jacques Cousteau... He is the Famous Marine Biologist who had his own show. Inspector Cluseau is the Pink Panther. (Unless you meant Inspector Gadget)... Too far. 😄)
