I recently sat down with legendary B-Horror Splatter film icon and co-founder of Troma, Lloyd Kaufman! Director, Writer, and Producer of so many classic black comedy exploitation movies including The Toxic Avenger, Class of Nuke 'Em High, Troma's War and so much more, Uncle Lloyd is talking all things Tromaville as we approach Troma's 50th Anniversary.

The look on James’ face... when Lloyd... from offscreen... with his clarinet... begins to play... as he sidles into the frame... to that jovial tune... dancing his cheeky little jig... the face of James... of utter confusion and bewilderment... slowly breaking... a smile cracking... until... “James! Troma might have like a 1,000 movies but my favorites are still Toxic Avenger, Class Of Nuke'em High, Mother's Day and NightBeast. Lloyd is a legend to be treasured while he's still alive. It's sad that Troma's movies are not found everywhere like back in the day you could find them at K-Mart, Woolworth, Suncoast, Boarders, etc. With this places gone there's a huge chunk of exposition gone. Walmart has never brought a Troma movie that I know of. So now it's all on-line. Anyway 50 years of reel independence here's to another 50 years. Great interview James and it's always great to see Lloyd!☝😊👆
