Ahhh sorry (Lost in translation) ok ok! I love, is always usefull and great to know the rcs and mods/up-grades we can made to then! We have lots of RU-vid Vids of Axial/Traxxas but if we search for RGT or FTX etc we have so low info about mods long terns Review etc 💪🏻🐻❄️🍻🐼👌🏻 so i Loved my Friend 🏆keep the Good Work
Very nice to see that some of the TRX parts fit especially the brass weighted stuff. Agree with keeping the battery where is for exact reasons. Looking forward to seeing more 👍
Definitely. We are getting a second one so I don't have to beg my daughter for a shot of hers 😂. Just waiting for my birthday so I have a good excuse to buy mine
@@DaddyDaughterRC-sw2zb Sounds like a good idea! It's making me reconsider what to keep as my go-to rigs. I didn't expect to like it as much as I do.. it just needs to look better.
@@rcpie yes definitely a impressive rig for the money as I originally was looking at the ftx geo for myself but after playing with this one I have changed my mind but the look is a bit 🤷♂️. Looking at some different shells or cosmetic modification to make our two look different from each other also as will be driving them together.
Great video, thankyou- good to know which bits can be upgraded or replaced with traxxas parts. Love my Gladius, and so far just done HW1080 esc change (massive improvement), steering servo replacement, winch and trx-4 diff cover/ skid plates. did quite a lot of changes to bodyshell by 3d printing wing mirrors, wipers, roll cage and scale accessories. Keep up the good work, really appreciate the Gladius content from you, RcDaddy and RuisRc adventures!
Thanks for the kind words. I really like your roll cage. I wonder what sort of punishment it can take. 🤷🏼 I'm considering getting another body to paint up in a slightly more attractive way and a roll cage would certainly improve it. I wish I had a 3d printer for doing the other bits as they'd just set it off.
I use small 3s lipos on my crawlers (1600 and 1400mah) and i usually get over 2 hours runtime. The caveat is that i do run Fusion Se's in both and we we know brushless is much more efficient. My mate Rc Daddy did show me his trx4 brass, i was sort of amazed it fits. Great review mate 👌😊
Thanks! 👍🏻 In putting a Fusion SE in mine but I still want the longer run-times as I like the long drives. I don't really see any need to drop down to smaller packs, either. Each to their own and what they want from their trucks. It's one of the great things with this hobby.
I'm at an UDI 1607/Porche and preparing a design for the 1608/VW (blue paint/first experiment). I will end up with 2 plastic bodies for each. I suggest a glue gun repair (inside) for your cracks as I use that a lot for wires and attaching other mods. I don't even drive much as it never stops with some tinkering.
I don't think it'd be the best way to fix a cracked body. Hot glue isn't flexible when dry and it's quite heavy. Fibre tape and flexible glue like ShooGoo or E6000 work well.
