Idk how many valves you've seen, but you absolutely need a large valve for heavy equipment like that.

​@@ResoluteDeicide I never can, even with the heavy bow and Armor piercing arrow heads. Every time I stealth attack them from the front they shoot at me. Either I don't hit the human inside the cabin or I just don't have the power. But there is power scaling. I have some of the best bows currently, I'm lvl. 12.

Well that actually tracks, when considering the RDA are basically a Private military Corporation with lots of profit incentive to under-arm their personnel. And the small arms they brought to Pandora are high-caliber weapons meant to combat the large and armored wildlife. And the AMP suits are usually just meant to boost physical strength to move cargo. In the game, you can see some suits without even a windshield, and some with armor retrofitted on the joints and reinforced windshields. I was surprised how accurate they made the combat, actually!

@ragemonster4277 Bro, you literally play as 12 foot giant with cat-like reflexes and mobility. It would be weird if you weren't overpowered. And it's not like their weapons aren't really powerful. Turn up the difficulty, and you die in a few shots from some enemies. It's a good setup for guerrilla warfare.

@@ResoluteDeicide dude, you are literally fighting an army from the late 22nd century with a loin cloth. Being 12 feet tall just means you’re an easier target to hit. Also they do have carbon fiber bones but carbon fiber cannot stop bullets past .45 acp (a basic medium pistol round) of our current century. Also firearms can deliver tens of thousands of foot pounds of energy. A bow and arrow can only deliver 30-100 and let’s just say that the Navi bow gives off 3 times that, it wouldn’t even dent WW1 tanks. It’s just poor writing, inconsistency, and plot armor, simple as that

@ragemonster4277 You know why armies started using crossbows instead of arrows which could be loosed faster? The bolts had much heavier and sharper ends made for piercing hard, rounded Armour. And the draw weight of these bows has to be at least a 400 lb. And that's easily enough to peirce metal at the right angle. Ever seen an arrow pass through ballistic gel? They don't tumble like bullets do, the continue straight through their path, even though an arrow has a fraction of the power of a bullet. There are advantages to that. And I've seen .45 acp rounds glance off of a windshield. With Armour, hardness isn't even half of it. It's all about angle. A 7.62 round would easily glance off of carbon fiber at the right angle. And bones happen to be round: the best shape for Armour. And even a big target is hard to hit while it's moving, and if you've ever raced a kid, the taller the target, the faster they move. Besides it's like saying Native American resistance just never happened, because these dynamics we're talking about are historical. Read accounts of European settlers trying to defend their settlements with their superior weaponry. While they were reloading after shooting at the bushes, they'd get turned into Porcupines. The natives were better at their own weaponry, and they knew the environment and how to be stealthy in it. Take ANY guerilla warfare conflict and the story is the same. But even besides all that, I'm all for giving this game an extra difficulty to turn it into very realistic and lethal combat. A couple tweaks and this game could feel like Insurgency.

I think a lot of game devs (and gamers) would agree that “bigger is better” is not always better. A lot of games bother me nowadays because they’re so bloated - you lose your direction, you get stuck doing repetitive grinding or tasking - simple games with cool ideas (Armored Core 6 is another recent one that comes to mind) that are really well refined and not over-done (Like Starfield - could we not have had half the planets but been able to explore them all? Or some kind of compromise to keep the formula? No.)

Ikr, people playing dozen of games together, overstimulating the shit out of their brains and complaining about not enjoying any games. Also, I stopped watching game reviews and started trying them out instead. Turns out I enjoyed many low rated game .i.e. saints row.

@@wandererof1116 I'm the same. If I like the look of a game I buy it. So many games nowadays get stupid amounts of hate for ridiculous reasons. Half the time the people saying how bad a game is haven't even played it. They're just repeating what their favourite youtuber says.

There's definitely a lot of overstimulation going on, but i don't think it's the whole picture. It's the same with music, the more artists you listen to, the more your taste palette grows and your standards rise. @@wandererof1116

the films were amazing, the second one was fine, but I feel they focused so much more on story, so hopefully 3 will have more stuff to it. the only redeeming factor for me with this game is knowing that massive had access to the scripts for the films from avatar 2, to 3 and hopefully 4. so since this game is set in the same universe as avatar 2, and you're on the other side of pandora as jake and his family do their thing during the second film across the moon, then that alone gives me a inkling of desire to play. they've probably set things up that we as fans won't see or know anything about until the 3rd and 4th, 5th films.

@@wandererof1116star field is my biggest example of this. So many people talked shit about the game with ZERO elaboration. I’ve put 300 hours into the game already and I’m not bored whatsoever. Starfield deserves awards in my opinion, not game of the year but certain categories the game nails.

Not everygame is made with the intention of innovating, everyones so caught up on every game being the next game of the year 10/10 whatever. This game accomplished what it set out to do, immerse players in the beautiful world of pandora, its that simple my g.

There hasn't really been much innovation in terms of gameplay for a while now imo. Graphics keep getting better and better but the gameplay loop is often the same, don't think it's wrong to expect one of the biggest studios to do something new.@@z3roninja565

@@fallen6060 Parkour, hunting, harvesting. Theres a special sensory mode that highlights weak/kill points on animals, and there is a mini-game for harvesting the various things in the game. The hunger system isn't super fleshed out but you have to eat now and then and you can cook various meal combinations from what you hunt and harvest.

Dude running around in the jungle across various vines and through the treetops and lush vegetation is beautifully immersive

Play on Hard, the way it's meant to be played. Every fight is more fun and challenging and feels way more realistic.

@@Disciple550 huh, maybe it doesn't seem very frequent with those I watch play it. Is it close to as frequent as the combat encounters in Ghost of Tsushima?

@@ResoluteDeicide not quite as frequent as that, but still enough to have to keep your eyes and ears out. It’s honestly the perfect amount without it becoming annoying

@Disciple550 ah, cause every once in a while, it was just a bit too frequent in Ghost of Tsushima for me, but was a good balance. Man I need this game now. I'd love to see more players added to coop too. I think that could be a good core mechanic for some kind of Raid mode or something. It feels like there are so many possibilities with what's there!

Also, it is by far one of the most gorgeous, immersive open world games I’ve ever played. Sometimes I literally just want to run through the lush jungles or fly across the northern planes. Haven’t even seen half the map yet it’s so big
