me and my family were in Tamera 2009. It is still the most inspiring trip I can remember. Tamera will be the first thing to travel to after our kids get out of school... in the meanwhile we trainee a much smaller version at home in Germany.

Just watching this movie makes me so happy!! Seeing all these people doing healing work for our Mother Earth and for the living beings on it. This brings motivation and hope to me that real alternatives exist to heal the world and live in peace.

hi nicky! i did a Q&A video with ina where i sort of answered your question. you can check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Z-cdWKqSUW8.html (see the questions in the infobox below the video if you don´t want to watch it all...) but to say a few words directly... first of all it depends on what you are most interested in. maybe check out the schedule (www.tamera.org/main-menu/events/) and see if you can go for an introduction week (or a horse course :) and then if your wish is to stay longer in tamera you can always send an email to their office and tell a little bit about yourself, why you want to come and see if you can work in the gardens for some time.. enjoy! and let me know if/when you go! :)

hello, these questions don´t have a short answers aned i actually am not sure, but i will try to the best of my knowledge: the land is owned by the people who live there or maybe legally by a foundation that was started for this kind of administrative purpose. so the people also have to come up with the money to keep everything running. and there are different ways of course... seminars, donations and people going out to work for money for example. the question about the kids... well tamera is a community so they all live in community. sorry if this doesn´t fully answer your questions. greetings!

i would say as little as possible. of course the financial side needs to be taken care of to make sure things are running. once that is sorted out you only need money for special treats like buying something in the shop or the cafe. internally things are shared without looking at finances. so meals, work, electricity, etc. check out this answer in the Q&A to hear a bit more on the topic. also this video is interesting when it comes to money/work in the community and how they find the right "jobs" for everybody.

I first watched this video a few years ago but this past week I’ve been longing to revisit Sepp Holzer and the Tamera Project. Habe den Link von meiner Tochter bekommen, die zur Zeit in Tamera verweilt. Eine knappe Stunde, wow- habe ich zunächst gedacht- muss ich mir das antun? Bin dann aber gespannt bis an den letzten Frame kleben geblieben! Eine bemerkenswerte Doku ist dir gelungen! Bleibt am Ball - ihr Peaceworker! Wir sind im Geiste bei euch. I wonder are there such kind vegan ecovillages in north of Portugal or Galicia? Lisbon region is quite dry except for Sintra.

A greate idea, this project. I've wanted to live in a comunity like this for a while, now. If you read this comment before I decide to make contact with Tamera, I would like to know: Do they have some kind of doctor or naturopath there? Or a physiotherapist, a massagist? I ask, because after my final a level examinations next summer I would like to go for a fsJ at a doctors, or some kind of healer. And I would love to combine that with a full year visit to Tamera. Thanks for sharing!
