I know it's not the most popular, but I think the DT-03 chassis is one of the most durable ones Tamiya ever made. Also very stable at high speed. Gearbox is strong and can handle loads of power too. Would love to see a speed run challenge with the DT-03. Anyway now I'm just rambling on...have fun building it Chief Engineer!

I'm building mine now! I love the look of it. I got mine because of Addam! I also did an unboxing. I'm going to go with a brushless kit on mine.

This is a hell of a good kit and for the money you really get a lot, we will be trying different wheel and tyre combinations I reckon depending on the surface. Hardest job is deciding on the paint and decals but I’m sure we will come up with something different 😊

I just built mine and it was a pleasure to build and I went box art on it. I am sure the Chief Engineer is not going to go box art so I am looking forward to seeing what he comes up with! It is a really nice truck for the price, lots of good stuff in there! Those tires are a pain to get on the wheels! The sidewalls are really stick and it made it hard to grab and pull them over middle to get them in the groove!!

Hi guys. I've got one of these and it is rather good. Looks like you've bought the right upgrades. The only thing is that the stock tyres are rubbish on any surface so I have put Blitzer tyres on and it's now epic on the grass. From memory I got nearly 40mph out of it with a brushless set so it can take a bit of power. Have fun with the build 🙂
