Yes I do think the Brat is one of the core Tamiya models, like the Lunchbox. I’m impressed with it, eager to put it through its paces when the weather improves ⛈👍
Nice work on the build and Lexan body, guys! Looking good in the natural light, as you say. Great fun blasting around the carpark with the tail kicking out, tons of fun. I need to get building mine, ready for the better weather (if it ever comes!) Loved the ending, "Oh, Fffffffffuuuu......" 🤣
I think it is one of the favourites already! I think the plan is to find somewhere a bit rough and ready for it. Look forward to seeing how your one comes along and I’m keeping my fingers crossed I might be able to paint on Sunday some other projects 👍

It does look good, it did nearly go for a tumble but it seems that it was glued to the tarmac so all was well, the irony is when the hard shell goes on I bet it will the decide it will go arse over elbow 😆😂👍
Hi there, the Brat looks amazing in the gold colour and you’re right, the blend of the decals and colour suit the model. Awesome iconic RC, I have my own Brat and it’s definitely on my favourite list. I wish you both health and happiness for 2022. 😉😊😉
That Brat looks class! The gold paint looks better than the box red 👍🏻 Glad it was a great build but the screw bag hunt on the older kits can be a pain 😂 Hope the camera it ok 🤞🏻
I just laid out the cash for my Subaru brat, and it boggles the mind, especially when you own the black edition monster beetle with the black chassis when you own the Blackfoot with the red chassis when you converted the Blackfoot and removed the red chassis and gave that HRV red chassis to your daughters Build and she changed the white paint and the pink paint for a pearl white and what I like to call a metallic champagne pink . She has l obliterated the box are the only thing that’s left of the box are are the locations of the paint lines and the decaling, which was left at a minimal. So it boggles my mind having so many ORV chassis, including the entire frog chassis that I purchased the frog for my daughter, and now it hangs with the rest of the plans and pieces. I noticed that Gavin from RC kicks channel has been found the pink tires and has mounted the pink tires onto his frog and changed the look immensely, it’s incredible what a pink set of tires will do but are there more out there? Is it something that you can ask the manufacturer to reproduce? The June Watanabe horny is another one of those issues one of those circumstances where you look at Mr. Amro racing who owns three of them he built one has one new box and he opened the box just so he can peruse it’s contents and show folks what was in there Yet to see anyone put the June Watanabe hornet together with white wheels, white black rubber I guess if you went that path you probably could take the time and contact MCI racing for a pair of decals where you have changed the black dots for pink period and this is where All of these ramblings have Apex and we are full circle with a question and statement. Why have you never purchased the Subaru rat? Why did it take the elf Meister and the kind donation to get you involved? And is it true that it’s the only kid that comes with both Polycarbonate and injection molded bodies? Oh, add one last thing I have not shown you any pictures of my daughters frog, but at this stage of the game should be able to derive a decent mental picture from a fraud shelf, queen and it’s only a shelf queen, because the chassis, the RV chassis is from an original Blackfoot
Lots to digest here, so lets see how I go. We did have a Blackfoot, but it was vintage and as a result the chassis was quite brittle and kept breaking, so this was sold for parts. The Elf kindly offered some cars to the channel, and 2 of these we selected was a Brat and a Monster Beetle. As a result of having had a Blackfoot, and having a Brat and a MB, its doubtful we would ever get a Frog, as its too similar. The Brat is a great car, but the steering mechanism is not the best and needs to be redesigned in my opinion, this is why we have modded this one. I think you are correct the Brat is the only model that comes with 2 shells, which I think is a great idea, and soon I hope to finish the hard body. Also I feel coloured wheels can look great but most people keep these on a shelf, where I think they look good whizzing around on the model and being used, I guess blacks more popular because of the dirt, but if I has coloured wheels I would use them no doubt. I have the June Watanabe Wildone, and in fairness its ok, bit of style over substance as it differs only slightly than the normal Tamiya one. You ended up with a drift Brat! It looks really cool in that color, you guys know how to pick some cool non-box art colors! I am guessing the lens is not ok!?!
Luckily I put a lens protector on it, so the actual lens is fine, safety first and all that. I’m so shocked on how well the colour works, moves like a dream 👍😆
What a waist of a pub, bummer, you could of had a pint or 4 after the run, LOL. Great color choice, looks freakin awesome!!!!! Someone should buy that land, put up a hobby shop and make a track or two........

Hiya guys. Ah so you got the Brat done. Looks great in the gold. So another abandoned business provides you with a spot to RC. It does worry me slightly that everything seems to have gone out of business! Anyway looks like a good run but lack of traction at the rear like your Blitzer on the last vid. The Brat tyres are good on a solid dry surface. Mine is my go to garden runner as it drives well but isn't too quick. Oh what happened with the GoPro? Was it in a case and that broke or was it the actual camera. I think you can replace the lens cover on the Hero 7? Anyway, hope it's ok.
Luckily you can replace the lens, but I had the fortunate idea of using a lens protector and it was just that which smashed so all is good with it, few mods to the camera car so it doesn’t happen again. Lucky escape this time. From the state of this place I think it’s been closed a while, the curse of the country pub, they will probably knock it down and make tiny expensive houses in its place 😆👍
