Just picked up a Super Clodbuster! Always wanted one as a kid but couldn't afford it. Had plenty of others, Falcon, Blackfoot, Hornet, Hotshot. Love Tamiya kits!
Loved this truck every since it came out and I'm a proud owner of 22 and I have 3 of them in the works. I use to own 25 of them, but I sold 3 of them many years ago.
Wow! How did you manage to get so many? I have one and I love it. Just got a 3D printer so will now be able to print all those replacement parts and upgrades I couldn’t afford all those years ago.
Hi Wayne, could you please point me in the direction of spare parts, particularly a battery cover (7800403), I don't mind if its Original, 3rd party, or an STL file I can 3d print, its the last thing I need to make it run and I've been searching far and wide
Thank you so much for the video. It brings back so many wonderful memories of when I first got into the Clod Buster. As soon as the kit was released in 1987, I sold my Tamiya Blackfoot and put the money towards a new Clod Buster. I have absolutely no regrets as I still have my first Clod Buster though there are almost no stock parts left on it. I do not think that I'll ever get rid of any of my modified Clod Busters and Bull Heads.
Does anyone remember or know how much these were in the 80's? I had one, but I was a kid and got it for Christmas. I can't remember how much they were...
I bought my Tamiya Clod Buster in 1987 right after the kit was first released. I bought mine via mail order from America's Hobby Center and it was either $210 or $220. That was by far the best price that I had ever seen. Right after I ordered mine, America's Hobby Center raised the price to about $250.
@@Locoboy5150 yes, it's the same voice for all of their videos back in the day who sounds exactly like the actor who played the library cop in Seinfeld.
