Thanks...it's been very hard for all of us. Many RC cars built on moms kitchen table growing up. I appreciate the positive comments. We will hopefully have a few more done before the snow ❄ this winter.

The extra weight hanging off to one side is just about as bad as the power increase. On a street or open backyard it was no contest as kids...but in a confined space...well we will see. Thanks for the watch and comment my friend.

@@VINTAGEBACKYARDRC How did the cable cam work out? I thought the various camera angles were spot on. I especially liked the one round the top of the deck. 🙌🏻🤘🏻

@@theoagrc 2:07 we are now on a 2.4 tx in the pedal/cam. It's still hard to "sync" the launch with the car speed...had to do a few takes. It looks seamless in the video and unfortunately not very noticeable...lol. Need a longer track.

@@VINTAGEBACKYARDRC 😂 I thought it was all one continuous shot so excellent edit bud! I thought it looked most excellent and way beyond my skills for camera work. I found myself looking into drones the other evening that can track cars…. Not sure the technology is there for 1/10th scale yet 😂

@@theoagrc Been looking as well! They cant track well in a confined space. Hover is an option though. The DJI stuff has crash avoidance (needed in a fenced yard) and a better follow me setup but WAY out of my price point.

Sounds like something I need to try! I don't know about it to be honest. I assume getting gear pressed off the old motor and on to the new one might be a challenge. In my opinion the weight is just as much an issue as the power...so it's probably a great alternative if you can sort the pinion gear out. Keep in mind the size of my track is causing or I should say exposing this over power "issue" over just bashing around outdoors. In that case...I'll take the big block!

@@VINTAGEBACKYARDRC I wish I would have thought about the pinion gear when I ordered the new motor, probably cost me extra at the hobby store.And Im going to get a 540 motor as well.
