The gold rims came with the super shot when I had it.

Here I am at 47 and finally might pull the trigger on this thing lol. Great video 👍 my first Tamiya was the Hornet and I haven't lost interest in this great hobby since then.

I have the original 1985 issue Hotshot. It came with white rims. The Supershot came with the gold rims.

You could say that these were canta levers.

The monoshock is what does it for me too. It's so unique, so different and so so super cool. A must have in any collection. Just ordered mine from Amain Hobbies yesterday... FINALLY!, cant wait for it to arrive.

I always wanted one really bad. To me this was a 4x4 Fox which I had. I might have to look into getting a rere.🤘🤘🤘

I would like to make an observation on your video. I had an original Hotshot in the UK in 85, it had white wheels. It was the super Hotshot or the Hotshot 2 that came with mostly gold wheels, at least in the UK.

How similar is the Hot Shot to the Boomerang? oh can you do a video on your Boomerang. I was going to ask if you thought a brushless system would be good for my Optima, but you already answered that. Stay tubular Fil.

Finally found myself a HotShot re release to build. Local shop got 2 in stock last week, both are gone now. One other shop in west end has them but wants more for them then I'm willing to pay. Just need to get bearings for it then begin my build. Love the red look but think I'm going with my signature metallic green look & custom MCI racing decals. I have a spare 10T brushless motor (speed pasions) what ESC you using on yours? Wondering if the stock Tamiya will be up to the task. 🤔

G’day mate, great channel, just purchased a re release hotshot and was wondering is yours handling the 10.5 turn ok. I’m thinking of a 13.5 for mine but was concerned it might be too much for the drive line. Regards Craig

I like to know what it's top speed is with the brushless motor.

The hot shot is a super cool kit I recently got one from the RC Elf. If your not 100% a box art fan you should stop by and check out what I did with mine you might like it then again you might not. Sorry to bomb your channel.
