Hi Jeremy, thank you for watching and leaving me a nice comment. Oh yes, I’ve been intrigued with the 4WS option and how it works, so thought this was the perfect chassis for me to test this option. Best wishes to you and the family 😎😉😊

Oooh John, those sprigs are hard to get onto the servo saver! Funnily enough I just fitted one of those to my XV01. And centering the servos is definitely an essential step! Good work my friend, I hope all is well - cheers! 🍺😎👍

Hi Mark, thank you for watching and leaving me a wonderful comment. Oh yes, certainly had some sore fingers getting the servo saver springs into place 😩👍but, got there in the end. Getting that servo just right is essential, I’ve had to go back sometimes to make sure I did it though, sometime forget this step, which turns out to be some hassle on some chassis 😂😊😉take care and best wishes to you all 🍾😉😊😎

This is a very important step . Nothing like having to pull the servo out after it was installed because i forgot to center the steering servo LOL

Hi Dirk, thank you for watching and leaving me a nice comment. I had to go 4WS, just so intrigued with how this setup behaves on a crawler / trailing RC. Best wishes to you and the family 😎😉😊

I have not yet ventured into the double servo vehicles...Interesting to see how folks center the servos. I usually fit a horn on temporarily, trim it, rinse repeat until I am satisfied, which usually minimizes trimming after install. Cheers

Hey John, that Servo saver seems to be a very strong one. Do you think you can install the other servo without a servo saver? The build is coming along. I can't wait to see this completed and on its first run 👍👍 Take care and best wishes to you and the family 💯💯💯
@JF-RC
@JF-RC 6 месяцев назад
Hi Al, thank you for watching and leaving me a great question. The front servo saver is the high torque servo saver, and boy it’s a tough one to install. The rear servo saver is one that I’ve had in the parts supplies and as it’s on the rear, not necessary to have the high torque saver. Best wishes to you and the family 😎😉😊

I like how I'm seeing the metal servo saver setup! Definitely makes sense for a vehicle like this and I'm glad you're doing the 4WS option. Question...what's the tire compound like on this one? As it's designed to be a crawler just wondering if the tires are nice and soft.
@JF-RC
@JF-RC 6 месяцев назад
Hi Freddy, that you for watching and leaving me a good question. The tyres are reasonably soft, perhaps not as soft and stickers as other crawler tyres, but I think they will be okay. I think if you’re going to do serious rock crawling, perhaps a change of tyres will be necessary. Best wishes my friend. 😊😎😉
