Hello John, I will say that those axels are a lot beefier than any of my 8th scale rc axels. Thank you for explaining how Tamiya made it so easy to get the different angles by using the same parts in a different location. I would have just put it together without a second thought on why and how it worked out. Thank you again sir for teaching during this build. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.

Those are some seriously axles once the uprights are attached. I think they are probably much bigger than what they look like in the video. Pretty impressive. Definitely looking forward to seeing more!

How clever of a design is that! Very cool! I’m really enjoying this build so much John. After I build the car the tt-02 Imprezza that I won from Addam, I think this will be my next Tamiya kit for sure! So this video is going to be referenced again when I get one! Brilliant job John on completing another successful step! Best wishes to you and your family my good friend!👊🏼😎🍻

Hi Robby, thank you for watching and leaving me another great comment. How coincidental, I also have a TT-02 Impreza Monte Carlo to do too, I’m going to be doing it stock colours, but I’m upping the chassis performance😊😉😊 this CR-01 is awesome, do get one. I’ve been playing around with the setup of the 4WS, mixed the steering channels on my RadioLink system, so that I can dial the rear steering up and down, live whilst driving the vehicle, more rear steering for tight crawling obstacles, less for more trails and speed. It’s truly a wonderful Tamiya 😉😎😊best wishes to you and the family 🖐️😎😉😊

JOHN!!! Oh sorry to shout I thought I was going to hear that pup next door but nope nothing lol . Great job coming along well I wounder how the change in caster angle will effect the performance in turns and such.
@JF-RC
@JF-RC 6 месяцев назад
Hi Kev, LOL! I had to bribe the dog next door with a packet of treats 🤣😎🖐️ maybe it’s me, but I had to read these instructions a few times to understand the configuration of the angles for the front & rear (think my brain was in fog mode 🤨🤣🤨). I don’t think you can change the angles, there are fixed for front and rear. But, my secret weapon is the 4WS 🤔I’ve got it rigged with 4WS using my RadioLink system, with the steering channels mixed, which is adjustable on the run, so you can dial up and down the rear steering to suit the terrain, live 🤔just love this Cr-01 😊😉best wishes to you and the family 😎😊😉

Great job John, but what do the 2 angles do? I know, is caster, I think. It looked like caster angles to me... Maybe you said it before but i forget... Awesome video again dude!!!!
@JF-RC
@JF-RC 6 месяцев назад
Hey Bob, thank you for watching, and a great question. Yep, you’re right, it’s the caster angle. Thank you for the encouragement my good friend. I hope that you’re all keeping well. If I remember, you were contemplating a new addition to the family, have you managed to find a suitable new 4 legged family member ? Best wishes to you all 😎😉😊

@@JF-RC Hi John, no worries mate!!! No, $3,000 for a pup that lives just as long as a $300 pup... It's gonna take time..
