Those are just so cool, the Top Force! They got a really special look, almost otherworldly, like a space-sea-creature that has arrived for revenge. They are brutal, really. What else can I say, they are quite unrefined, just pure. I missed experiencing these back in the early 90'ies, I had just recently given up on RC toys, started fooling around with alcohol and girls and stuff, but now that I'm catching up on RC history, these are definitely an important part of it. Very nice you took yours out for a photo shoot, show us all their unpolished beauty!

Yes indeed sir,they certainly look like an organic alien life form of some sort.....I remember someone once describing the looks as 'a frog that has been trodden on'......that kinda works to! Like you,I missed these two back in the day. I was well into the hobby from 1985 until 1991ish.....but around the time the Top force was coming out I to had discovered drink,girls,and the early 90s rave scene and all its 'goodies'!!! 😁 So it's great picking up where I left off,thank God for re re's eh mate? Cheers my friend! Trust me,either one of these comes highly recommended. I would say it's probably the best handling non TRF buggy that Tamiya have ever produced. The Evo kit is actually pretty good value for money with all that carbon,front and rear ball different,and high caps as standard. I know that you are not a fan of ball diffs, but these are just sooo smooth, as is the suspension. But,the silver can has to go,this buggy deserves much more! It's also a fairly straight forward and highly enjoyable build. Looking forward to seeing how she does around the figure of eight later in the winter. Cheers for checking in Addam. 😊 👍 👍 👍

@@yodadarksideGreenHawksRC oh yeah I've always been very much into clubbing and dance music. There used to be a night called Slinky at the Academy in Boscombe that we went to every week for years. Saw all the big DJ's down there. Still make it to a few trance nights a few times a year. The good thing is that you get all ages of people there so we don't feel like old farts. Need to keep going while our knees still work 😁

She does love to crash our photo shoots , and makes such an effort to be part of things..... it would be rude to cut her out of the final edit!! 😁 I don't have to tell you what a beautiful buggy this is do I? 😉 This finishes the 2023 summer photo shoot series, before we move onto our winter projects. Gutted the weather broke so bad before I got a chance to take her for a rip around the garden....but there's no way I was going to have to totally strip it down to 'de mud' it just for a couple of minutes of running footage! Once I have upgraded the motor then it will be featured in a future Tescos time trials video at some point,probably not the next one though as I want to run the RC10B6.2! Oh definitely one of 'those' tunes mate! I can remember many, very messy, 'E'uphoric trance nights towards the end of the nineties with tunes like this..... "What's ya name,where ya from,and what you on?!'" Raving until the sun came up in a huge marquee or barn in the middle of the countryside (if it didn't get raided by the old bill first!) Damn the introduction of the 1994 criminal justice bill!!😁 Then trying to remember where you had parked your car 12 hours prior (which usually had a flat battery! 😁) I do miss those days,great music,great friends and amazing vibes. A million miles away from my calm slower paced life now of building and driving toy cars!! 😁 Thought that tune worked well for such a 'beautiful' buggy. Shame the weather broke before I got a chance to get a run in,the garden is now a total mud bath! May get her doing some time trials around the Tescos figure of eight over the winter months though. Oh wow they both beautiful 😍, wish I could afford the EVO,I have normal topforce which I love,the egress type wheels u have fitted look great,I tried to find some race style flat disk wheels but I can never find the correct fitment,I bought some TRF ones but they the wrong hex size,and then a bought a chep set off ebay but they a wider offset and actually bigger diameter 🙈,if u have any info on what different wheels fit a TopForce I'd be very greatful 👍💯
Cheers fella! Yes, we are all huge fans of the iconic Top force! I actually prefer the original,probably due to the amount of blue hop ups that I fitted to it,and that gorgeous metallic green paint! We have a whole video on that car in 3 different liveries in our back catalogue if you are interested in a closer look! The Evo is slowly coming down in price,I gave £290 for that one on eBay..... there are bargains to be found if you keep looking! As for your query on the wheels,sounds like a bit of a nightmare mate! I do believe that most non TRF Tamiya buggies should have the same size hex fitment. Personally I think the Egress wheels look by far the best on it,and they are easily available/not too expensive either.....they could be your best bet? Another beauty from the collection! This is the last of this year's summer photo shoot videos....the UK winter has taken a turn for the worst and the garden is now under water/mud! The idea of the photo shoot series was to get some of the collection out in the summer sunshine to be photographed /documented for both myself, and anyone else who is interested. Still got more cars in the collection to feature,and more to build so we will pick the series back up in the spring. We are actually in total shock over the fact that the monster truck one has just hit 17k views!!! People obviously have a lot of love for these vintage Tamiya icons.
