I found a 2017 top force at the begining of 2020, was looking forward to running it, then lockdown stopped everything. Stupidly sold it to buy a monster beetle, but could mess about in the fields with that. So im glad they rere’d the top force again 👍

What?!?!?! NO GREEN!!! You know I love green, Fil! 😅😅 But seriously, that's a wicked kit right there my man! Lots of goodness in that box, but amazing there are no ball bearings. Lots of balls though! 🤣 Love the Ron Burgundy guest tyre sniff!!! If you are not going with green, I don't know what will go with those stickers, maybe a nice bright orange to compliment the flashes on the stickers? British racing green must flow deep in your veins, Mark. But here in frosty Canada, we prefer light blue, white, etc... All the colours that remind us of winter. Hahaha. ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ I'm still a little torn on colour, hopefully inspiration will strike soon. As my co-host Ron Burgundy says "stay classy." 😉🤣👊🏼

@AddamsPlayground I hated the top force back in 91 Addam, I thought it looked fugly compared to the egress and avante. Someone coined the phrase 'squashed frog'. But now, I LOVE it!!! Honestly mate, when you actually build one and see it in person you will not be disappointed. From the sides and the rear it looks truly amazing, it's shape is like nothing else. I'm adamant (pun intended!) that you will change your mind mate! 😉 👍 👍 👍

Good choice kit. I added an Avante driver to my Evo. You just have to chop off the top of the driver head to make it fit but when you do, the look is awesome. I plan to give the Top Force a speedster look by cutting the cabin top off and leaving the wind screen so the driver can be seated without a lobotomy.

Aww... green is my favorite color.. no love ): but I do love the Top Force. Its probably one of my top 3 favorite 4wd buggies. I'm really looking forward to watching you build this door stop wedge and running it.

great unboxing vid! as far as paint is concerned, for a change..let your wife decide on the color and or pattern that "she" would like to see..you never know! after all..happy wife..happy life! I myself was thinking about painting the body copper and paint the wheels chrome and no stickers...maybe some black stripes, but hey..just my two cents..cheers and see you in the next one!

That's actually a really great idea. Only problem is that, as an auto body painter by trade, she can't ever pick a colour! We're very similar that way, we both get too stoked and can't make up our bloody minds! 🤣

Brilliant unboxing! Make sure you get the machined motor mount. Got mine during Covid Lockdown, think only paid £149 for it! The Top force is definitely in my top 10 Tamiya buggies and drives amazing but now is a shelf queen next to my Evo 🇬🇧

Door wedge?!!! 😂😅 🤣 Now we're talking mate.... forget all these modern slop machines, s**ts about to get real!! I love the Top force, in all of it's forms. This is one of Tamiyas all time best buggies dude, as I'm sure you know. I got properly carried away with mine, bought every blue alloy hop up under the sun.... It's one of my favourite buggies now. I actually prefer my TRF custom Top force to my Top force Evo! As for the motor, trust me mate, you need to wack a superstock in that bad boy..... I have a TZ in mine and it works an absolute treat, it rips!!! You look like a kid in a candy shop opening that box, and loving the tire skit!! 😂 It's been a while since I built mine, so can't wait to see the build video on this one! I challenge you to make it better than my TRF special buddy..... I know you love a challenge with us UK guys!! 😂 😅 🤣 Awesome video Sir. 🙏 👍 👍 👍

Yeah the Top Force really is a beast of a machine when compared to a BT-01, isn't it? Haha. It's like bringing a machine gun to a knife fight. 🤣🤣🤣 I like your idea of a TRF spec Top Force! Oh man, the money that could be spent... haha. 💰 🤑 💸 A TRF paint job would be sweet, too! I don't have the skills to make that happen though, I'd have to outsource it. You got the gears turning, James... 🤔🤔🤔

@@poorboysrc Oh yes..... I think the upgrades and additional parts came to as much as the kit itself!!! 🙄 But, every now and again it's good to get carried away and let your creative juices flow. I don't believe you haven't got it in you mate, I'm sure you are more than capable! 😉 The only down side of fully hopping up a top force is it then makes your evo look kinda lame! 😂 Have you decided a colour scheme yet bud? 🤔 👍 👍 👍

I just picked up a Top-Force Evo today since it's more performance oriented than the standard Top-Force and I wanted all the goodies out of the box. I do wish that the body didn't come pre-painted, maybe I'll buy an unpainted bodyset later on down the road.

Seems like a great release from Tamiya, obviously not as high end as the EVO. But at least it seems affordable. It's a gorgeous buggy. Your EVO looks amazing, maybe you should paint it like that?

With a bit of artistic license you could make it look like the car Dynamo had in the Running Man, and on a wire have an Arnie action figure in a gold one piece looking like he is being chased, I am sure it would be one of the more unique looking models 🤔

Nive it comes with oil shocks just need bearing included and be on there way. I think canel yellow for the paint would go well with the green and loght yellow stickers.

Does it have window masking for clear windows? Not a fan of sticker windows.

No, it does not. The decal sheet comes with a translucent sticker for the windows, but I still masked mine for the best effect.
