Tampa has a few run down spots, but it's not really that dangerous. You should go to Cross Fletcher and Sulphur Springs next time. Those are the worst parts

Tampa has the most peaceful "hoods." Not all of Florida is like Miami or Jacksonville. Tampa has been called one of the top 10 safest metropolitans in the US

Very little it's mostly additional footage from those same housing projects. I plan to come back to Florida late in the spring of summer and I'll probably do more videos in Tampa, St Petersburg, Tallahasse and some smaller places. I still have footage from Homestead, Florida City and from that place Pahokee, I got to go through it and see if it's worth posting.

I've been to Tampa many times. I wouldn't consider the area hood or gutter, although crime can happen anywhere. Tampa is surrounded by lots of suburbs and water. Tampa is a nice relaxed city.
Most of Tampa been remodeled its only a couple project's that's the same Tampa isn't that big if you separate it from temple terrace and cross fletcher or sulfur springs Tampa is actually west Tampa Tampa park college hill ponce Jackson heights Robles and a couple more spots

We can go round and round about what ails these neighborhoods, but a couple of things jump out at you when driving through any low income area. First, is dozens of 20 and 30 something year old's standing around in the middle of the day instead of working, and second, vehicles that cost as much as the house it's parked in front of. Laziness and the inability to manage your money is NOT the governments problem, yet every year we dump billions of tax dollars into communities similar to the ones in this video HOPING it will make a change and of course it doesn't. At some point people have to change themselves. I'm part owner of a Tampa area business and we are constantly short on personnel. 20.-$25. /hr. start with overtime available and these are not rocket scientist positions. I'm going on 30 years now in management and the dilemma of trying to find people willing to work is only getting worse.

Tampa is different than other Florida cities. We have more hoods than almost every city in Florida so there’s a lot of hood beef and it’s a city that never sleeps.

sigh... I know WHY charlie completely "missed the point". Tampa is a very spread out but massive metro area. It's the 18th largest in the country. It's sorta like LA where it's not immediately apparent where the hoods really are. I really hope you visit this AREA again. Other than places mentioned by other comments, you should see Clearwater and New Port Richey. Tampa Bay is a HARD thuggin region.
