Tamron 150-500mm First Look! Photographer Alain Martinez shares his thoughts on the new Tamron 150-500mm f/5-6.7 di iii vc vxd telephoto lens for Sony. This is a compact ultra-telephoto zoom lens with image stabilization specifically designed for Sony E-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras. Alain took the Tamron lens out for a spin in Miami Beach and was able to get some great shots.
Lens highlights:
Designed to be approximately the same size as Sony’s 100-400mm GM while achieving a maximum focal length of 500mm and incorporation of Vibration Compensation (VC).
