Ive now done the safety, mag release, bolt release and thumb rest.....total panic every time because I have "builders fingers" (big clunky and calloused) but your videos did the job......gonna let my gunsmith install the ultimate trigger kit today (i know my limits🤗) Thanks you guys. I learned alot about my 22/45
After you remove the trigger,if you re-instsll the pin,it will keep the spring in place. It makes the removal and installation of the mag release a whole lot easier.
FYI: No need to remove anything beyond the upper. You can leave the trigger assembly alone. I did this on 2 of my Mark 4's. Thank you for this video nonetheless as it's still helpful to most. Peace.
I also was able to remove the mag release pin without removing anything other then the upper, the grips, and only moving the retaining spring with a pick.
I have a Tech Tip for all of you. If you purchase the Titan Extended Magazine Release and the Victory Trigger you could install both in the single Extended Mag Release install. #KILLING2BIRDSWITH1STONE
