hey so i have a question,when i wanted to watch monkie kid again a few days ago the link didn't work for the Chinese and English,so could you at least tell me if it is just me or is it something else? no pressure just asking.

It’s really funny, the show is originally animated and voiced in English, then dubbed in Chinese, but the Chinese version is released before the English version
@@EMO_GRLL so, in japan (i belive this is the japanese dub) they focus more in capturing the personality of the character with the voice than caring abt the gender of the character. Female voices are more associated to kindness, friendship, tenderness - all the values of a comon anime protagonist. (Of course in some cases you cant just ignore the gender, imagine Jotaru Kujo with a female voice. Nightmares.) Anime protags like Goku, Edward & Alphonse Elric, that guy from Samurai X and some others have their original voices with female VA's bc of that (Hope that made sense, i am not very skilled with english)
It’s strange how some anime companies have female voice actors playing male shojo protagonists. Goku, Luffy, Naruto. They even got a girl playing MK and this isn’t a true anime
