not trying to be pedantic, but aren't these definitions somewhat really just arbitrary? The constraints of the definition may actually be obstructions. Like perhaps being a good behavior analyst isn't necessarily being able to spout these definitions verbatim, but actually being able to utilize their meta understanding to make adjustments that lead to proper wellbeing. but of course, if you take this route, you slowly dissolve the science aspect of it. Nonetheless I think that's a path of development, to see the extent of the knowledge you obtain and then eventually distill it.
Yeah, but the whole scientific process (e.g., how we language through science) is all arbitrary. It's good to question, but my point in this series is to get back to what actually matter: effect on environment. The categories are just useless arbitrary lines that detract from the function-based approach we have in this field. Cheers zega nine, thanks for making me think a bit this morning.
