It always takes me back to landing on the Shore for the first time, swelling with righteous fury and sorrow. Your Ghost doesn't know it yet, but this is the beginning of a crusade.
a real shame Michael Salvatori is gone... the man has worked on d2 for so long and mastered his art to fit every scene... now its just scary to know what will happen to the music.
I'm really sad we're losing Tangled Shore. It's honestly my favorite location in the game and the core of what I want the game to feel like. A wild space, a frontier, colonized by hardy survivors, military camps, and mysterious, dark threats. This theme music brings all that together with a dash of Spaghetti Western to let us play the gunslinger against the world.
I heard there'll be some sort of compensation for people who have completed the Forsaken campaign. It doesn't make it ok for me, but it's something, at least.
Same. Tangled Shore and Dreaming City are the best destinations they've ever made for the game, with Dreadnaught being right up there too. I felt like Europa was super disappointing and a step backwards for destinations tbh. Thankfully we at least get to keep Dreaming City, but I'll miss Tangled Shore for sure. Hoping Savathun's Throne World is good.
@@drakunai agreed , i also prefer tangled shore but i like how both tangled shore and rifleman fit so well together , these are imo the 2 themes that give off that western feel the best.
first time i heard this in game i was like holy shit money well spent, as of today i have like 400 hours on destiny 2 and i never had more fun grinding in my life
R.I.P to another legendary campaign. On another note I’m still upset that they got rid of what I bought the game for, Red war + digital deluxe edition :/
Tonight, we bid farewell to the Tangled Shore and the Forsaken Campaign, as they enter the Destiny Content Vault to make room* for the Witch Queen tomorrow morning. Though we will forget neither the sacrifices nor the victories of our past, we must also look to the future, full of hope, as we enter a brave new world. Cayde would have wanted it that way. *Disclaimer: phrase “to make room” is metaphorical and is not intended to be a description of what the DCV is for or how Bungie’s shit works.
well, DCV seems to be going stale with Lightfall announcements, so it's possible they might optimize even further and add everything back into Destiny 2.
The destination may be gone, but the memory of what happened here will never fade, cayde's will lives on for as long as evil lurks within the solar system.
the thing that i loved the most about forsaken was the fact that it wasn't a champaign focused about fighting the darkness or darkness related enemies, everything was about our guardian looking for revenge and scourging the shore .
And then there's me, who was always alone, played everything alone, witnessed everything alone: Red War, Curse Of Osiris, Warmind, Forsaken, Shadowkeep and now even Beyond Light. All done alone. I'm a 1300 guardian now, and it's really touching to see all the way i've come to this place from 750. From a chrostov in my hand and some promising abilities, to a Stasis-wielding legendary hunter with an arsenal of some of the rarest weapons in the universe, from Cayde's favourite: Ace Of Spades to the Sleeper's Stimulant, forged by a warmind on Mars. We've all came a long way since Destiny 2 released, some of our friends guardians may not even be here with us anymore, some of them may have gotten a better life, and only a small number of us are still here, some of us alone, some together, but always strong as the light of the Traveler.
@@user-oo3oi9ki2j yeah whenever a new dlc comes out, a lot of the old stuff becomes irrelevant which is why playing Forsaken in Year 3 (Shadowkeep year) can feel underwhelming. At the time though, Forsaken was almost a masterpiece.
I mean Forsaken will always be the best, doesn’t mean the other expansions are worse. Beyond Light was still loads of fun. It’s also not fair to compare either one because BL is supposed to serve as the start of D2’s soft reboot, while Forsaken was just another expansion in Age of Loss.
With the Witch Queen coming out tomorrow, I’d like to post something to remember Forsaken, as that as of now was truly the pinnacle of D2. Here’s to hoping Witch Queen can have that same effect.
Well I can't wait to play this again, such a cool story and......... Oh yeah well maybe I'll just forget that and get a refund...... oh right, my money is in the DCV too..... Love bungie...... I dear you to say it bungo, I dear you.
Спасибо.. Вам большое за замечательную музыку. Это музыка помогает поддерживать внутренний мир внутри себя.. словно у меня тоже есть Тронный мир из собственных желаний. Спасибо большое.
Say what you want about Bungie, but their sound design is top-notch! the way most tracks can intertwine with each other like this so seamlessly is just fantastic
