Your cinematography is just outstanding. 99% of RU-vid videos I watch on my tablet, yours I put up on the wide screen TV. It’s the only way to do them justice. Great to see the 16-55 getting some love from a self confessed prime lens lover like yourself too. 😅

Aw this is so lovely, thank you so much for this. I feel very honoured that you watch my videos on a wide screen tv, thank you ☺️ Yes I recently purchased it so I could use the polar pro filters on it (they were too big for my prime) and it was really great when I was away - especially carrying on lens around on a hike. Although, it is pretty heavy! Apart from that it has been fantastic 🙃

It's nice to see you again, even if I followed your adventures on Instagram ;-) Very nice video, you had good conditions, beautiful light, in short, enough to take beautiful photos! On the other hand, a small correction, Mont Blanc is pronounced "Mont blan" without the "C" at the end.

Nice! Part of my family lives nearby, and that's always a joy to travel there in october. Light is incredible for landscape photo if you can benefit from sunny days, tracks are not packed with tourists, so I can understand the freedom feeling you share.

That last picture was epic. Great video. Question: why do you bring both the X-H2 and X-H2S?
@wildandfreevictoria
@wildandfreevictoria 10 месяцев назад
Thank you! Because I do a mixture of photography and cinematography, my XH2 is mainly my photography camera and the XH2s is mainly my filming canera but on some occasions I can only carry the 1 (if I am hiking up big mountains and need to save weight) so I will decide very specially on those occasions which camera I will take 🙃
@colinhoward2200
@colinhoward2200 10 месяцев назад
Amazing as ever - thank you :) Curious though as to why you went for the X-H2 vs the X-T5 as for photography they are essentially the same - unless you want to do high speed photography. Maybe it was because you wanted to be able to have your X-H2S and X-H2 set up exactly the same, and with all the controls being in the same place?
@wildandfreevictoria
@wildandfreevictoria 10 месяцев назад
Thank you! And yes, I like the build of the XH2s and I wanted the same so I can easily swap between the two. I also really like the customisable buttons on the XH2s/XH2 and the rotatable LCD screen is a big win for me :) the XH2 can do 8k filming - i’m not too sure if the XT5 I can’t remember. But yes, mainly I wanted the same build but one camera for filming and the other for photography 🙂
@colinhoward2200
@colinhoward2200 10 месяцев назад
@@wildandfreevictoria Hi - yeah that makes sense. The X-T5 can't do 8K - but I am not ready for that!! The X-T5 has way more customisable settings though (7 for video + 7 for photography), and if you set up your buttons correctly, it as easy to switch between them as using the control dials on the X-H2 cameras. But I get the fully articulating screen if you prefer it. I don't as it is not so obvious I am taking photos or video where I go - which is more travelling around cities etc. It is all about personal preference and how/where you want to use it. Luckily Fujifilm gives us both options. Keep going with what you are doing :)
@wildandfreevictoria
@wildandfreevictoria 10 месяцев назад
Yes that’s it, it’s all about figuring what suits you and your needs in photography. The XH2 and the XH2s have great customisable set ups, I actually felt they have more the XT5. But that’s for both filming and photography which suits me and all the Q and function buttons which is great. The XT5 is fantastic (same stuff as the XH2 but just a different body). I’m sure you’ll figure out what suits you best 🙂 thanks again!

Stunning photos and vids as always! 😍 do u own the xh2 too? whats ur opinion on it (compared to the xh2s)? :)
@wildandfreevictoria
@wildandfreevictoria 10 месяцев назад
Thank you! And yes I do, I got the XH2 a couple of months ago before this trip and it is fantastic. My XH2s is my go to camera for filming as it is brilliant and the XH2 is my go to camera for photography as they quality is fantastic and can do some really great filming too (just not as good as the XH2s for some slow motions settings). The XH2 is very similar to the XT5 though but I got the XH2 over the XT5 as I wanted the same build and custom buttons on the XH2 as it is with the XH2s. I hope this helps 🙂
@Glueckskeeks
@Glueckskeeks 10 месяцев назад
Thank u very much!! That helps a lot, as I dont want to film much, I guess the xh2 is the better choice for me then :)

I just wonder, you have the X-H3 with 40 megapixels, but many of your shots is taken with the X-H2S with 26 megapixels. I have done Landscape Photography for several decades and larger film format or larger megapixels sensor is your best friend for Landscape Photography, as well as very good prime Lenses are.
@wildandfreevictoria
@wildandfreevictoria 10 месяцев назад
You don’t need to tell me how to suck eggs but thanks. I take both cameras out with me and I do a mixture of photography on both as the filming on the XH2s is better as it is a stack sensor (not always about the MP) and I don’t always have space for 2 cameras, so I take the XH2s so I can do filming. And I take the XH2 when I do more photography stuff. I know my equipment well thanks ✌🏻
@cameraprepper7938
@cameraprepper7938 10 месяцев назад
@@wildandfreevictoria Well a stacked sensor is good for speed and video, the sensor in the X-H2 is good for high quality photography, so you can go and such eggs.
