Thank you for sharing.Alot of this resonated with me.I came out to my sister on 14th August 2021.I had a mammogram appt on the 13th which was 2 years to the date I had my mastectomy for stage 1 breast cancer.This to me was a sign to tell my sis.It was then or never.She said she knew and was waiting for me to tell her lol.Then I told my son,niece and nephew 2 wks later.They were brilliant about it.I told my aunty about 8 months later then told everyone else.It was the best thing(other than having my son)that I have done.I'm living my life true to myself and I'm not lying to myself anymore.It's definitely better late than never.xx

Omg this has made me cry so much, so much of this resonates with me. Leaving my husband of 20 years to be me was so hard but as you said I wasn't lying to him I was lying to myself. My kids were amazing, my step kids were amazing. My friends were amazing. Some of my family weren't but that's their issue. Now I'm being true to me and although its been the hardest thing I've ever done 2 and a half years down the line, my ex husband is my best friend and things are good. I'm me and I can dress how I want, have my hair as I want because I can look gay now because I am. Thankyou for this and for being an inspiration 💖

This is so powerful im 30 ive kinda gone bk in the closet out of fear of losing people but this video helps me feel i can free myself thank you so much for this

Thank you for sharing your story with the world. It made me a little emotional listening to parts but seeing your smile grow and eyes light up when you talk about your family and how happy you all are now gives others the courage to persue their happy too. If that’s what they want of course. But it also gives, or gave in my example, others the strength they always had inside themself, to admit and live their truth. Keep being you Tank xx
