My best friend is albino. We live in America and I am so glad she does not have to worry as much about things like this. Albino people are just like the rest of us and I hope the people there will learn that, and not attack them anymore .

I have raised 4 children & have been blessed with 3 grandchildren. I would open my door to ANY CHILD in need of a home, protection, love or just as simple as a hug. This is just normal life in African culture. If they arrested every single person involved in this practice there’d be twice the amount of replacements for them the next morning. American Pride When I first replied "*Yeah just a tad*" I was using irony to insinuate that your phrase "That is really worrying." was indeed an understatement. In using "Yeah just a tad" (Which was an understatement) I was mimicking what I believed to be your understatement. "That is really worrying." isn't easy to compare to how worrying it actually is. "That is frightening." Would've been less of an understatement. Hyperbole also could've been used to pass a stronger message (But hyperbole should be used sparsely or the usage of hyperboles would be less effective).

This hurts my heart. My toddler has Albinism and to imagine other adorable children, like my son, living in total fear is agonizing. I am very thankful we live somewhere where this doesn't happen. Those poor kids. Cut their body parts off? SERIOUSLY? That is SICK.

Oh my gosh-what an amazing story! The only negative thing I have to say-in a most loving way-is that I wish they had been wearing their seat belts when in the van to visit her son! That was making me very nervous. We just through a tragedy with my sons best friend where his parents and sister were killed just at a traffic light, and he is in intensive care. I don’t know if they were wearing seatbelts or not, but it sure can make all the difference between living and dying in an accident.

Religious belief as a whole, throughout human history, has been the cause of so much pain and suffering. This is just another example of people shaping the world to fit their beliefs and these poor children suffer because of it.
