It's good to see more economy class videos. Although it's nice to see all the businesses and first class flights most of us will probably still fly economy.
Great review! The service quality on TAP seems pretty good. Nice to see them offering metal cutleries in Economy and the cabin on the A330neo looks beautiful too :)
Brilliant video! You got a really nice wing view on an A330-900neo. You're super lucky to fly on it because it's a modern plane and not much airlines have it on their fleet nowadays. If I have a chance, I will fly on an A330-900neo. Thanks for sharing your amazing trip report!

I flew on a Tap Air Portugal A330Neo from Newark to Lisbon and back on November last year. I have to say that the A330 is my favorite plane! I simply love them. Very comfortable!!! I’m flying them again next April hopefully!!
How would you rate this airline in comparison to Air France and British airways? I found good deal on TAP Portugal to Italy from USA, and a bit skeptical since I have not tried them before.
It's a very crowded airport but it's in the middle of Lisbon suburbs, no room to expand. There's been talk of building a new airport across the river for years and years now but who knows if it'll ever get off the ground ( so to speak)
Nice trip report! Actually there is a new terminal planned as a form of piers, there is also the plan to build a low cost airport on the other side of the river at Montijo.
Nice review, currently that terminal is probably just the right size ! Not a bad product but that green they have for the cabin reminds me of 1970's avocado green.. horrible ! That and the squeaky bins would drive me mad.
Hello! I'll be flying in this exact route in the following week. Is it possible to plug a laptop charger (Schuko) to the power plug? I'm planning what will I do to keep myself entertained during the flight!
Heads up: as of May 10, 2022, TAP will no longer be at Terminal 5 at JFK. They will be using Terminal 4 next door but figure the check-in and security experience could be very different (i.e., longer).

Bad advice to suggest the pre-landing sandwich as take-away. Meat products, such as the ham in the sandwich, cannot be legally taken into Portugal. That sandwich should be consumed on-board or discarded.
@@_w_w_ not true, you'll need to clear passport control(only when flying to a schengen country), if you're flying to a third country you only clear security.
@@amandeuce Crazy logic! Not many countries allow you to carry in meat products. Your final destination would still expect you to declare. Just because you break the rules often, or it's not very well enforced, it doesn't make the rule any less real. Due to complexity of overlaying laws, it's NEVER a good idea to take unconsumed meat products off a long haul flight, which is why most airlines make announcements advising passengers not to do that. Back at ya: what if you transfer to a different airline or domestic airline that require you to go from T1 to T2?
@@_w_w_ in that case yes, you'd have to clear customs. I'm aware of the customs regulations and know food is no good idea to bring but I also know if I have a 4 hour layover and continue flying on TAP its totally good to bring the sandwich because I know I'm getting hungry sooner or later. All I said is the sandwich is good for takeaway.
