Tapolca is a little known town of 16,000 inhabitants in Western Hungary, north of Lake Balaton. I think it is worth a visit for these reasons:
1. The Lake Cave (Tavas Barlang)
2. The main square
3. The Mill Pond (Malom Tó)
4. The fish in the Mill Pond
5. The main church (Nagyboldogassony Templom)
6. The ruins of the castle
7. All the other historical buildings
8. Not sure what that was 😎
9. The Y-Houses (Ypsilon Házak) - this is controversial, a guy honked at me and gave me the finger when I was filming there.
10. The surroundings, especially Csobánc Hill which is my absolute favourite
