.26 is world class, comparable to the old quick draw competitions where they are hitting .18 on modified single actions and modified holsters. Very impressive. Congratulations.
In general anything sub .60 sec is world class. That is just stupid fast. He has shot .45-ish a lot with that rig/set. Check out the video of him and Robert Vogel going after each other. Two of the best. Dropping another.20 sec is crazy. For the average goof, like me, getting a shot off in under a second is not that hard. But remember it only counts if it is a “shot and a score.” TB is multi time champ….and from another planet.
Bob munden holds the record for a draw of .21 on a 2'x 4' steel...with live ammo. That's with a grip already established. Tarans draw is more impressive.
I just watched it a 1/4 of full speed. In my play back he had the shot off before the beep stopped.😲 I've heard of competitive shooters training them selves to listen for the start of the beep not the end of it. This is a perfect example of that in practice.
This is a perfect example of we weren’t there the first forty times before the camera started recording and he got her timing down. 😂😂😂😂 at the end of the day it wasn’t at a competition so it’s just content. Lmfao
Not even in the same league as Bob Munden. At 68 years old Bob fired two shots at two different targets 6 feet apart with a single action revolver in under .10. You could only hear one shot. It was all recorded for a tv show and the video is out there. They had him hooked up to sensors and monitors to see how fast he was. He was faster than a rattlesnake strike. I think the show was called Superhumans.
I swear he had the shot off before the beep ended.😲 I would love to see a high speed (slow-mo) camera of Taran's draw. Just to see his technique. It's almost impossible to see it at full speed. 😁
I think Taran shot faster than the .26 read. The buzz of that Pact timer has a .23 hundreds duration and you clearly hear the shot and then the beep continuing afterwards! Great job Taran!
bob was fun to watch for dang sure. but he also wasnt shooting real bullets. basically shooting blanks, so accuracy didnt really come into the equation.
Not trying to hate. But he jumped the timer. It’s close so it’s hard to see. But his arm starts to move before the buzzer. Still insanely impressive. But, the times are a little off.
After watching this video..i tried this with our Walther P99 (fully loaded) and a COP 2 Point security Holster (Police). I dont get under 0.45 (random timed Beep)...the 0.26 is really impressive. Is his Beep random or fixed ?
people drinking the TTI kool-aid hard on this one. He just timed her cadence, started his draw before the timer even started. It's not a 1/4 second draw.
but can't you anticipate that beep? i mean the way she says "shooter ready" and then "stand by"? I'm just saying, i would like to see him do that without her saying anything and just him waiting for the beep.
Ok...what am I missing here? The man shot a good size stationary target from approximately 20 feet away. Again, what am I missing here that is so impressive? Its not like it was moving or shooting back.
Not real life? What does that mean? You think it's CGI? Because he was really living, at his real range, in 'real life'. Or do you mean 'not in a Competition'? Guess you aren't aware of his multiple titles from various classifications of competitions over the past decades. But it doesn't really matter, does it? Because he's faster than your jealous ass will EVER be. You're faster? Post your vid of you beating that & post the link so we can all watch it. Yeah. That's what I thought. You're just another shit talker, trying to rip on someone who would smoke you 10,000 times out of 10,000 with his eyes closed, on his worst day, with his non-dominant hand.
