I too questioned who Jesus was. My mom is a very strong Christian and told me to ask Jesus. I did. It was a frightening experience where I was shown the outer darkness I was in because I turned my back on the light of the world. When I was returned from the outer darkness I knew I never wanted to return there and I know never to doubt who Jesus Christ is. He is the Light of the world. ❤

There's some good points but also if we think a little deeper,maybe new insights. Genesis 1 & 2 are not exactly a coherent story to begin with. When Eve said: "do not touch it" do we really believe she "added to God's Word?" I don't think so. I think it's much more likely she quoted exactly what He said. When trying to deter someone from doing evil, we all know now that we must not even THINK ABOUT it. (touch it). A loving mother/father would say exactly that. There is also confusion about the two trees. Adam was told (before Eve was created) in Gen. 2:17 "...but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat....or you will surely die." But when Eve talks to the serpent, she refers to the tree "....in the midst of the garden." And Gen. 2:9 says: "The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil." So we have 2 trees "in the midst of the garden". So how did confusion arise? Well "God" told Adam something and then Adam told Eve something. Did he misquote God or lie to Eve or did Eve simply misunderstand? I don't think it was a deliberate "adding to God's Word" and even it it was, it only reinforced the message: Don't do evil. Today, we have an expression: "I wouldn't touch that with a 10-foot pole." Which means we vow not to think about it, talk about it or try doing it. In Gen. 3:4 serpent speaking to Eve: "...you will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." We know that "knowing" in the Bible refers to the actions: thinking and doing. So the serpent called "God" a liar and proposed something unthinkable: "you will be like God." That is the goal of the serpent race. The ones Jesus called out. The fallen angels are the ones who want to "be God". I do think that the word "God" and LORD God have been pasted over in this story. (research: The 5th Kind channel with Paul Wallis for more on this or Mauro Biglino's book: "Gods of the Bible" ) Question: If this story is accurate to the letter, then why did Adam get driven out of the garden but not Eve? And then there's that bothersome verse Gen. 3:22 where the serpent says: "Behold, the MAN has become like one of Us, to know good and evil." Who is the US? I think there's some fallen angels in this story, and their identify has been masked. How did Adam become "like one of us?" Maybe because he blamed Eve for his mistake and didn't take responsibility for what God told him? Point of interest: because Eve apparently remained in the Garden, I suspect there is a tie here between her and the tree of life, being the mtDNA (mitochondrial DNA) that carries the long line of descent of human history. It's been proven by geneticist Brian Sykes that the female line carries back at least 200,000 years and that Eve actually had 7 daughters and we are all descended from them! So in conclusion, the Garden story is still being unravelled.

@@user-gy5so3nl5d Adam was driven out because he failed in his responsibilities to watch over the garden, and he blamed GOD for causing the problem in the garden (GOD gave Eve to Adam, and Eve is the one that offered the fruit to Adam), Gen 3:11. Gen. 3:16 tells us that GOD bound Eve to Adam; therefore he cast her out with Adam indirectly (Gen. 3:16 "...Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.”). Gen. 3:22, the "us" is the holy Trinity, GOD the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (3 persons and 1 GOD).
