To be fair, there's still games coming out every day, but they are usually so low budget and crap that we wouldn't want to pump that type of video content daily lol
I think you guys are all being overly critical on a mobile MMO game with no ads and no intrusive pay-to-win within the cesspool of gacha-genshit games. It's not an idle clicker, it's not a kingdom builder, it's an enjoyable mobile MMO akin to classic mmo's from the early 2000's. There are actual dungeon mechanics, raids, events, grouping, guilds, crafting, branching talent trees, and lore diaries. Chill out guys. I'm only playing it because Dawntrail isn't released yet, but I can't ignore that Tarisland isn't actually another predatory scam.
You and I came to pretty much the exact same final thoughts if you jump to that section. If you have a "main" PC MMO, Tarisland probably isn't worth it, but as a distraction to burn a few weeks before an expansion or as something to do on your mobile, it could be FAR worse!
Hate that a game graphically looks like it has potential only to find that it lacks in so many other categories and already seems like it is being built to like a bounty paper towel for money.
Big surprise....... This is not a game for me. A-bomb Tencent on this PoS. It's on par for a Chinese anything. $hit I'm definitely not into games that gear look is only based on the difficulty rating of my wallet. I normally buy Chinese products for the quality and am fine with paying more for it......
The only fun thing about the game are the dungeons...everything else sucks...story is just generic fantasy with WoW elements, the quests suck, mobs in the world don't give XP and very rarely loot, crafting is energy based...
I have to disagree. It's definitely a nostalgic style mmo, but everything is voice acted (albeit Ai sometimes) and the presentations of the quests are great. They're simple and well-produced. You dont have to grind mobs outside so XP doesnt matter and questing gives you way more than enough XP. Crafting being energy-based to to deter bots. The dungeons and the talent-trees can be as deep or simple as the player wants them to. It's a good game while we wait for Dawntrail.
