Do you think oracle cards can be used in the same way? I saw these set of cards I wanted to purchase but they were oracle not tarot, that is why I am asking.
If the oracle deck you're using does a good job of portraying an array of universal archetypes, then I'd say yes an oracle deck would be appropriate to use. If you want to create interesting characters, then you need to show the nuanced dynamics between light and dark. Everyone has good and evil inside of them, and Tarot happens to do a good job of portraying that. I'm not much of an oracle deck reader, so maybe I'm not the best person to weigh in on this.
