Wow. You might be the first person I’ve seen that moderately enjoyed this film lmao. Everyone else seems to be calling it the worst of 2024. This wasn’t one I was particularly interested in, so I’ll probably catch it on digital. Great Review!

I just don’t see how this is worse than night swim or imaginary. As I said in my review yeah it has flaws but, it’s audience really isn’t a man in his 30s like myself but, watching the amount of horror like I do there is far worse movies.

Definitely a movie I didn’t hate, nor do I think it’s a one that’s one of the best horror movies of the year. I agree I like the scene in the train station and ESPECIALLY the scene where The Fool stalks its pray! You liked it a little more than me but all good man 🙂

Well, this one actually looked fun. Like a 13 Ghosts or something. I wanted to catch it but it’ll definitely have to wait until after Fall Guy and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. Can’t be worse than night swim or imaginary like you said. Solid review, dude

I haven’t seen the trailer but I’ve seen a lot of people on IG say how much they hate it. I know a lot of people don’t like jump scares but at least like you said, it’s something that happens. This sounds like something my 17-year old niece would like a lot.

It’s possible. I don’t know what others were expecting but, being pg 13 of course they’ll be jump scares, lack of blood etc. None of that was surprising.

I heard a lot of negative things about it. I'm glad to hear a different perspective. With that said, I find jump scares to be way over used in most horror movies so I don't know how I feel about knowing there's a lot of them in this one. I skipped it for now, but may end up checking it out at some point. Great review man.

I think this movie would be a much better movie if I had never seen a horror movie before so, to your point, it's probably made for teens. I didn't feel like there was really anything original. I'll have my review up here in a little bit and I basically describe it as Final Destination with Tarort cards and horoscopes. Great review man and I'm glad you had more fun with it than I did!

How are you doing today and how your day? I don't see many jump scares because they scares are getting predictable. Maybe it just me. I understand it trying to get very suspenseful when monsters popping up all over the place. The dark atmosphere and the creepy suspense music. However, I do enjoy that I was highly entertained when the cast were making dumb decision. Most important, you will never and I mean never seen me playing a Ouija board or tarot cards. I saw them maybe once in a thrift store and pass that up like I never saw them. Thanks for your epic review and hope you have a great weekend?

Good technical level, good lighting and sound, even in average movie, is always better than bad technical level in average movie. I'm glad to see some movies are still well made! Thanks for the review 🙂

You would never think that by the RT score😆A 12%. It’s nowhere near that bad. I think expectations from some were too high. I have seen way worse this year. Most of the bad reviews I see is predictable and not original which makes me laugh because, even the original movies that get released they aren’t getting supported at least in the theater.

I watched it a few hours ago and mostly enjoyed it. It ain't perfect, but I'm a bit surprised by the hate that it's getting from mainstream critics.

If you’re referring to Rotten Tomatoes they always hate horror. It’s definitely not perfect but , it’s not a half star that I’ve seen on Letterboxd.

I knew what I was getting into in a way and I looked at it from the perspective of its audience . It’s easy to recognize the flaws but, there’s far worse out there.

Anything PG 13 it normally gets a lot of dislikes. I think it’s all about expectations and as I said in my review if you compare it to imaginary and night swim it’s giving a little more horror than either of those movies.

Possibly my fave horror film of the year ... but horror is my least favourite genre. I liked the fact it didn't take itself serious, had the jump scares, creepy sounds ... and didn't have an awful stereotypical cast with the dumb guy / strong guy / annoying girl etc etc. Wasn't a great film, but few horror films are. This knew what it was, and was fun. I liked it despite it's flaws. We are in the minority though I think!
