A vegan comfort food dish with a vegan tartiflette for the last cool winter evenings. The vegan cheese sauce is entirely homemade! I'm sure you'll like the recipe, too eager to get your feedback.
Ingredients for 3 people
1.2 kg of firm potatoes
200 g smoked tofu
2 tsp tamari
3 onions
3 tablespoons of cooking-resistant oil (sunflower, grape seed...)
Salt, pepper, nutmeg
Cheese sauce:
75 g cashew nuts (neither salted nor toasted)
360 ml soy milk
50 g margarine (+ a little bit for gratin)
240 ml vegetable stock
40 g tapioca flour (or cornstarch)
2 tbsp miso white
1 tbsp lemon juice
30 g malted yeast
120 ml vegan dry white wine
2 tbsp semolina garlic
2 tbsp dried onion
1/2 tbsp ground nutmeg
Pepper to taste
