TAS originally published on 2009-06-23
Shining Force is just under two hours of luck manipulation action. The random number generator is abused to the highest degree. The author used MATLAB, a math scripting language, to optimize the battle speeds.
This is a 4 minute 27 second improvement over the previous movie ( tasvideos.org/1146M ) by the same author.

shining force was so ahead of its time, to produce a game with so much detail on a sega genesis platform is so amazing

Ah yeah! This was so fun to play! I quit at the final boss because I think I was under leveled of something. I'll probably try again eventually.

I gave up because I got wrecked on my first try. Thought about how the dragon plays and beat it 2 days later on my first try. My guys were all level 12-25. You can do it under level.

had a lot of fun with this game. i wish i had it on a console rather than pc. new pc probably can't even run those old games anymore, it isn't compatible anymore. my stupid kid self got stuck here 17:44 i either didn't read kings text or i didn't understand it. so i was in chapter 1 an unhealthy amount of times. when i got older i did figure out why i was being stupid though.

i don't think they used any cheats. they probably just messed with the RNG by doing certain things.

I don't think he can just go take a boat and go back to Guardiana since whatever the village is called is in an entirely different part of the world and he doesn't even know how to use one. It is also to help understand the sequel.
