Yes and no. The amount of tries to get it down has to manually done over and over to perfect it. The full video is processed by a program or “tools” hence the T in TAS (tool assisted speedrun)

Both wrong, a human did do this, but by using various tools such as slowdown, frame advance, and save states to make the perfect playthrough of a game. AI/Computer technology is no where near the level it would have to be to route a game as complicated as this.
