The sim portion of game has a lot going on in the background, some of which you never see, but in casual gameplay it's as simple as moving the roads around and shooting down a monster when it attacks.
There is so much more content in the SIM phase the runs would de-sync pretty quickly. Some of the city defending scenarios are actually pretty hard, too.
The soundfont of the original release is so good, I have to play the remaster with "original" audio. The modern versions of these tracks actually sound fake compared to the source!
Hey man, so what happens if you leave the demons run a muck during the world building? What do the different/different colored demons do? I only ever played act raiser 2.
Red demon: dries up crops fields Skull head: decimates everything with an earthquake Napper Bat: kidnaps up to 4 villagers Blue Dragon: uses lightning to destroy houses and any villagers inside
oh my living days! the music, the sounds, wow! i'm turning the volume up on my pc and i don't care who want's me to turn it down, screw them! this game is absolutly brilliant! wow, wow, yeah! oh seriously i'd do anything for more tas's with wicked music like this.
So does the score not actually matter for town growth, and that was just a playground rumor or is there a lot more nuance to town growth than could be realized?
Honestly, as a fan of both the original and the new one, the new one wasn't half bad after playing through it 100%. I do have two complaints about the new one: 1: The tower defense / RTS segments can be tough if you don't know how to react to certain situations. 2: Graphically, it's clear that it was designed for a mobile port in mind. Really though, Actraiser getting any kind of attention is still better than nothing.
Luke 14:26 “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple." Those are the ideals of the religion this game is based off of.
