That’s pretty cool they have M7 HMC 105mm in this division, we have one of those on display beside a memorial at my National Guard armory.

Feel better soon. I deal with my share of illnesses so I can certainly empathize. It’s good to see you back making content, though! A humble suggestion for a video series… would you consider doing videos on the various SD2 maps highlighting important terrain features and strategies for mastering the maps themselves? Much in the same lines of your Battlegroup Overviews but a Map Overview. Even things like which divisions thrive on a given map. I find myself hopelessly lost when selecting a map for say a skirmish game. The names all sort of sound alike and the small map doesn’t give me a lot of clues as to which map is which. It would be great to hear and watch you breakdown the various game maps from your expert perspective.

4:38 wel they are a new units to Steel division 2 but there where the standard frontline Infantry of the 16 Demi-brigade in Steel division normandy 44

You forgot to mention that P47 unlike marauder has 580 km/h speed. That is a major advantage when it comes to dropping a bomb load. Also, once it drops it will gain even more speed and agility.

Vulcan didn't forget to mention the P-47's speed - in fact, he said, "yes, it's much faster, but..."

@@junibug6790 ah... I didn't hear it. Well anyways, my point is that p47 is a much better plane. 2 p47s are way more effective than 4 marauders cause they are fast enough to drop before stun.

What happened to the OSS units? The description of Task Force Butler makes a big deal of how OSS Commandos are supposed to be a big important reinforcement in later phases but the only actual OSS unit you get is a very average quality leader squad that doesn't even have a raider tag. I thought there was going to be stealthy raider squads to help you attack the enemy rear, but the closest you get is the Maquisards, which isn't what I pictured when I heard OSS Operational Group.

The Lucky 13 is good in 1v1, but frankly it doesn't compare to the Tarta in a team game. The Tarta can bring more infantries, good armor, and it has good aircraft selection. In AA, it beats the 13th with being able to bring 4 88mm in phase B. Idk why, but the developers are just so set on making the Allies a vanguard type faction, when it was the total opposite in reality. The Axis succeed by doing early rushes, but got grind down as the Allied could bring more manpower and equipment to bear.

I found this deck refreshing cause very maneuvrable but too light. Difficult to play

Wondeful overview of the new DLC (low key excited to see the Italians being represented in the game). Though I had a question regarding the deck composition / playstyle. It feels like this deck is micro heavy considering the amount of units you have to work with is fairly low in most phases. Is the intent to use the leaders to keep your infantry alive, own the forests and towns and use the air support and Long Toms to widdle down the opposing force? Or is this division meant to be used best in team games?

The deck is most definitely built for team games. Using the leaders to keep veterancy up is super important to maximise the efficiency of the lower amount of units you have. Generally you want to be aggressive from the start, not necessarily use a slow late game playstyle. The late bombers and artillery are just there for if it does go longer.

It’s kind of dumb that the model for the Long Tom is for the 1st Infantry Division (Big Red One). Likely recycled from Normandy 44…

Pretty much all models from sd44 were ported to sd2. Things like stugs, shermans, infantry, aa guns, planes, etc...

@@ivvan497 it’s not that difficult to change or remove the unit insignia on the gun crew… for them to be from the 1st ID when the 1st ID was on the other side of the country at the time of Dragoon is dumb.

Most of the newer battlegroups just seem so hodgepodge and boring to me. I just don't get a lot of excitement when it's a bunch of 3rd tier units hastily crammed together.
