That's what I do. I also add a little Lawry's seasoning or some Himalayan salt. Sometimes I add a little thinly sliced smoked turkey sausage (similar to kielbasa) or sliced hotdogs, and/or shredded cheese (parmesan or Italian or Edam). Maybe a little garlic, as well.

I love making this since I was a kid. Just two friendly reminders. 1.Remember to put the noodles in the water AFTER the water boils. It prevents the noodle from getting soggy.2. The packets of flavorings when added to soup noodles you use the whole packet, but when added to dry fried noodles like in this video, you only use half a packet, or it will be too salty and concentrated. But when I make this dish, I never use the packets. Just use fresh soy sauce,a little sesame oil, and some sugar to fry the noodles. It will taste really really good!
@johnnyspeed5885
@johnnyspeed5885 6 лет назад
Actually, if you're not going to use the packet, you can add the seasoning before you cook the noodles for another flavor dimension... 😃

Omg I found the video. I found this video years back, late night (probably around U or 8 years ago)and tried it, and just so you know, this changed my noodle eating. I now ONLY eat my noodles this way. Any other way, I just can’t. This changed my life. Lol. I also add corn to the pot when I’m making them crispy, and it’s soooo good. The corn absorbs the season packet, and gets crispy while cooking in the pan. Soooo good. You have no idea how happy I am to find this video again. Lol

I'm not a fan of super salty things (and it bugs the crap out of me when I see people putting salt on food without even tasting the food first), but I often find that a full pack doesn't add enough flavor, especially if I've added veggies and such to it, let alone less than a whole pack. Will never understand how people can only add half a packet.

Break the brick of noodles in half before placing in water, pop in the toaster to brown... While toasting, boil water. Toss toasted noodles in boiled water, in less than five minutes tasty ramen noodles. Flavor as desired, the toaster gives them a nutty flavor.

I found the best way to do Ramen Noodles, Bring 1 can of Broth (Chicken ,. beef or vegetable stock.) and 1 cup Water, Bring to a rolling boil. Add Noodles, turn off broth. Cover with lid and let sit for 5 - 8 minutes. Drain. Heat Saute Pan with 2 tsp Olive Oil 1 tsp Garlic. stir for 30 seconds then add a portion of Noodles. Fry for about 2 minutes, flip and fry another 2 minutes. add 1 tsp Soy Sauce and stir. serve sprinkled roasted Sesame Seeds

Oh, Hanjie...Oh, please!! I hate salty food. Salt is toxic and causes a lot of health problems. They give babies sugar water when they are first born, but someone used salt by mistake and the babies died from their water that had salt instead of sugar. True story. It happened in a hospital, many years ago.I'm not sure, but it may have been a seriously disturbed employee who substituted the salt on purpose. Salt is toxic. However, a little is okay if you aren't salt-sensitive or have high blood pressure.

So if your daughter in law showed YOU how to cook this, why is your wife doing everything? Have you ever tried bringing just a small amount of water to boil in the frying pan, just enough to soften the noodles up a little? Put the lid on and steam them, and when the water evaporates, then fry the noodles. They dont have to be seperated to taste good.

Tried this a while back; it's awesome recipe. The cheap ramen noodles are perfect for this, although, I am going to try this with Japanese soba noodle. This is what Chinese places use to make a bed of SUPER crispy and solid bed of noodles topped with stir fry. If you live near a Korean store (or even any Asian store), look for NueGuRi Ramen. It takes longer to cook but is super chewy. My other favs are CchaCchaRONI (not CchaPaGETTI) and Kimchi Ramen with REAL fried sealed in a WET pack; kind of like insta Curry pouch.

True statement black folks been doing this for years on a budget except I would recommend not adding the whole seasoning packet because it's not diluted with water it would be too salty, and Add little hamburger onions and peppers, other than that it was perfect

YUMMY!! Will have to try I'm also a salty loving person what I do is I've bought powered flavored season's or cube's chicken, beef ect now I've never found shrimp flavored so far then I just add the flavored powder when I add their packet you just add however much your tummy desires it's worked for me!! And it's DELICIOUS!!! 🍝✌

So this video is good and all and I really am excited to try it out but the thing I have to comment on is your wonderful positive attitude even when faced with some of the less than polite comments on here! Just seeing you be so positive brightened up my day! Thank you very much!

Thank you so much for taking the time to make your comment. It brought a smile to my face. After being on RU-vid and the Internet as a whole since 2006, you grow a thick skin and realize that, no matter what you do, there are those out there that are haters just for the sake of being haters. You know their lives have to be pretty empty and sad for them to be that way. All of us should be in the business of making each other's lives a little nicer when we can. Thanks for watching!!! ;)

Its awesome you are so positive! Also, just an update, I tried the ramen and it's now my boyfriend's and I's favorite way of preparing it, which is pretty impressive considering, as unemployed college students, we eat a lot of ramen and as such, have tried a ton of different ways to spice it up. This way is sooooo good. :D

It’s better if you just fry it in sesame oil and aloha shoyu. Then add in cut up fried spam and fish cake and green onion . That’s just plain crispy gross noodles lol

Fried spam!?🤢 I would rather eat plain crispy noodles over *dog food* anyday of the week...Spam is ultra disgusting! I would surely add *real* chunks of ham if I had some leftovers but I would *never* put spam on anything! That shit is plain old disgusting...ham that can sit on a non refrigerated shelf, in a tin can for years and years *should not* b eaten! 🤢🤢🤢🤮

I used to make yakisoba style with ramen noodles for my little brothers, they love them since they were tired of brothy noodles all the time. I add cut up onion, carrots, bean sprouts, bell pepper, and cut up sausages :D then add the noodles last and cook until it’s abit hard. for seasoning I like to add soy sauce and abit of sugar and roasted sesame seeds or sesame oil :) sometimes I cook mixed egg on the side and then throw it in after noodles are crispy.. yum!
