Tata Motors is taking on its rivals in a serious way after XUV500 n Hector now Tata eyes on Swift and KUV100 market great job tata, I wish the Punch would have a Diesel option too.

This car is creating a new segment . It's a smart move from tata . People going for hatchbacks will be tempted to go for this . This probably will end hatchbacks . Entry level hatchbacks will remain but cars like swift will not stand a chance against a micro suv.

This looks more like aimed at the budget audience, the ones who can afford between 6-10 lacs and want an SUV. There is safety, there is good quality sound, a decent engine, a rear hand rest (I guess there is no front arm rest), but this car misses out on a lot of other fancy features which cars above 10L segments offer. This looks perfect for a family of 4.

I think an off-roader version of Tata punch like the one displayed hbx concept would be a deal breaker , because there are no off- roader cars in this price range .

The rounding off of the edges seems to be to avoid corner stresses on the door in case of a frontal crash. It would provide stability and improve safety. (All of this is applicable if it isn't plastic).

The Punch even though being a tiny little thing, has some great features which makes it yet another capable and potent offering from the house of Tata Motors. I guess the sedate driving nature is the only thing someone has to live with... Hope this sells in big numbers

That door window extra flange is to rest body seal, and increase the strength of door at that corner..

It is spacious, good ride & handling, drivability. Also has off roading capabilities. A complete practical package.

Tata had surely stepped up the game, just look at this car! Muscular car for sure. I have a Tata showroom near my house and people are flocking to test drive this vehicle….If they’ve thrown a turbo engine into this vehicle nothing can come closer to this Chota beast

I think Tata has yet another winner in the form Punch. I like the way the vehicle has been designed both inside and out (not just aesthetics) Tata doesnt have strong petrol engines, I wish they offered the turbo at least as an option right from get go. Design wise it looks good and the tail lamp design (inside part) that looked ridiculous on the Nexon look so much better designed on the Punch. I there i saw a hook on the passenger side to hold small bags in place, a thoughtful feature. 6:06 Just curious what the cubby hole next to the 12V socket is, there seems to be a wireless kinda logo on it, is it just to keep the vehicle keys or does it have any function?

Great review of a promising car! One thing I don't find gimmicky is 'wheel spin detected' message on the touchscreen, which driver has to accept and then press both pedals. I mean instead of that, why can't Punch do it seamlessly without driver even knowing or just flashing the message like 'mechanical differential lock engaged!'. Would have been cooler.

Through in a proper CVT/TC , 60:40 seats , a turbo petrol / a basic diesel engine across the varients or atleast as an option - it'll sell like cakes🌟 over sonet,venue and stuff

I really think as an SUV look ,design & feature. Punch missing of 3 things- - sunroof - turbo engine -Dark edition - I strongly blv within 1 year these three thing will be offer in Punch .

The overall video is quite creative... Amazing video creativity and presentation.

On road price of this should be less than the magnite and kiger's 6.52L. But the base Celerio sells for 5.5L on road. I'm satisfied with Altroz NA engine, so really confused.

This car with a suzuki dualjet 1.2 liter 4 cylinder engine would be a perfect car

Its a nice good hatch option but it will eat into its own siblings Tiago & Altroz for sure since it offers good cabin space & higher Ground Clearance perfect fit for our Indian Road conditions.

Test drive car - Butter smooth Steering, clutch, gear, but brake is rubbery like old ambassador all 4 drum brakes.
