One of the best SUVs with brilliant Ride, Tata Hexa is gigantic and quite bold somehow. Although, Tata could've update it with even more features. However, I Liked the 2.2L varicor motor under the hood.

Such a phenomenal car it was.... Tata should've launched it as Safari and no-one would've any complaints about the Legacy imo...!

I owned Safari Dicor 2012 model, Safari storme refresh model in 2015, Hexa XT Manual in 2019 and now bought New Safari in 2022. I have both Hexa and new safari right now...No vehicle comes near to Hexa in terms of Ride quality, built quality, space,suspension setup. It's a true beast. A true 2.2 Ton , 2.2 Litre 400 nm torque engine. Forget about innova, new/old XUV there is no match in ride quality..

I will never sell my Hexa. It’s a brilliant piece of engineering. Tata motors did a big strategic mistake of killing this masterpiece

I own a hexa xta from December 2017. Can't imagine the places I have been too. Terrific companion. Super ride. Excellent automatic. Great space. Nice seats. Super alloy wheels. Still it's a head turner on roads. After riding with me, many commented the same saying that this car is totally under rated. I bought this at 19.5 lakhs on road. Can't imagine a car at this price for such a car now. I won't be selling this car anytime soon. So happy with my hexa. Wish it was still on sale now. It would have eaten so many other cars at this price range.

This was a gem of a car. Excellent and proper 7 seater with good boot and all creature comforts. Infact it came with a capable 4*4 as well. Sadly Tata decided to kill it with a Nakli Safari ( Safari means 4*4 and new Safari does not have this characteristic and neither it has a boot with all 7 seats up.)

Hexa is a great car. The design is also awesome from inside and outside. Tata motors should bring it back because the kind space, comfort, build quality and features it has is really appreciable for it's time.

Proud owner on a hexa 4x4 yesterday checked its odo have clocked 95k kms in since Sept 17 no mechanical issue or any mechanical issues yet. And still it amazes me with its capability and efficiency.

The wow car! Hexa was never disappointing and highly missed by enthusiasts.

This was the car from where tata had marked the beggining of their dominance with serious focus on the power of engine, the interior, the speakers , the infotainment and everything else that they werent doing before. Though the car couldnt perfom well in the market , but it was very well thought out .

It's just like the Ford Endeavour. When it was on sale, people would refrain from buying it. And now that it's not, everyone wants it back!! I'd bet all these people would vanish if these cars (or their updated versions) were re-launched in the market!

This vehicle is a tank, I can't afford it but it makes me smile every time I see it don't understand why TATA discontinued it.

It's got 400nm of pulling power, the 4x4 torque on demand can do offroading, good suspension travel, super drive modes, it rides brilliantly, build like a tank, high water wading capacity, macho looks, 200mm of GC, can carry 7 people, brilliant TC transmission which can do 0-100 in 12 secs for a 2.2 tons mammoth, what more do we need...

Fantastic car, it was a worthy competitor to the Innova, I don’t why Tata killed the car. They could upgraded the looks and relaunched the car. No car can match the ride quality of Hexa, with low running costs.

Still enjoying my XTA after 4.5 years. Gem of a car.

Tata Should Launch updated hexa or a Tata Safari Storme with 4x4

I own Hexa's 2019 model XM+. Great VFM with excellent features. High speed stability is great, Cruise control making Highway drives so effortless, wonderful suspension setup and Eco Mode delivers decent mileage too. Service costs between 7k to 8k. No issues faced so far. Aircon is definitely noisy above level 1 and Rear camera resolution could have been better.

Peoples mindset should be change,this is a absolute MPV/SUV😍😍😍, the one who have everything but not recognised

Adding to the problems faced in my 2017 Tata Hexa XE posted earlier I had an enroute breakdown while driving from Katni to Bhopal (distance 430km) on 25 June 2023. After driving for about 40 km my ABS light came on followed by another light. As it was 40⁰C plus temperature and my parents both aged 85 years were with me I decided to continue. However soon display went blank, ac & blower stopped working, all electricals i.e. lights, indicators, horn, wipers, windows operation everything stopped working. It became unbearably hot inside & I had no choice but to turn back. As soon as as I turned back engine stopped & failed to start. I had to arrange taxy for my parents to return to Katni and they had to wait in the scorching heat for nearly two hours by the roadside at 85+ years of age. I contacted Tata Motors roadside assistance which reached after nearly 3.5 hours from Jabalpur. Fortunately the vehicle took a jump start & I could drive 50 km to Jabalpur without electricals, horn, indicator etc. After dropping the vehicle & spending the entire day in 40⁰ C plus I (aged 58 years) had to arrange another taxy to return to Katni. The vehicle was in Jabalpur Tata Service Centre for three days during which the electrical system was checked and battery was charged. Apparently a 150 amp(?) fuse had melted causing a series of problems. I was charged about 3400/- for the repairs. After the repairs I had to take another taxy from Katni to Jabalpur, collected my vehicle & drove 350km to Bhopal but all shaken up. The entire episode cost me close to Rs 20000/- including change of travel plans. This Tata Hexa has done only about 34000km in appx four years of running. I am really scared to take this vehicle for any outstation trip, the very reason for which I had bought this SUV.

It has some interesting features which even current safari lacks.

4.5 years later my Hexa still makes heads turn despite there being so many new contenders on the road.

FINALLY AFTER A LONG WAIT FOR THIS CAR!!!

Hexa with Fiat Sourced Engine, Hyundai Sourced Gearbox and Steering wheel which doesn't feel a workout would sell in good numbers with the Safari Badging of course ❤️

I have the Hexa XT and I've driven it in some of the worst rural roads. The Hexa is solid in built quality but the 19 inch slim profile wheels are not for the rural roads. Will complete 5 years in October this year and so far have used 3 pairs of front tyres alone, but the stock bushes are still intact.

4:40 you don’t have to jump from there! You can fold that seat even more (upside down ) from below that seat which gives good amount of space to walk to the third row! ❤️

If the hexa doesn't miss service centers frequently it can be one of the best in it's class Unrealiblity is the only factor which lets it down

Hexa was a phenomenal car with great and rugged SUV looks, 19-inch alloys🔥🔥. It has brilliant road presence. The engine and the automatic gearbox were brilliant. Especially the safety factor and build quality was on PAR. Even tata offered fully loaded features, smooth ride and 4×4, but as always good cars get discontinued as our indian market doesn't appreciate good cars.

It is a very capable vehicle.... Bangladesh military have some units of hexa...which justifies It's capability

i own a hexa xta it's a really great car. the second road tumbles there is a lever under the seat.

I wanted to buy Hexa for ride comfort, but family wanted only Crysta, so bought Crysta.

slight correction... you can actually fold the second row seats completely until the headrest thingy touches the floor and it's quite easy to jump in to the 3rd row after that

4:40 Hexa rear seats actually tumble down Both the middle seats tumble. There is a leaver under the seat and a ribbon behind the seat to do that. 6:22 First glove box is actually a cooled glove box. Many doesn't know but Mahindra MHawk & Tata Varicor was developed by AVL Austria @same time with a similar architecture & concept. While MHawk was developed to a great engine overall through the years but Tata chose to axe Varicor from passenger lineup altogether.

I have Tata Hexa XMA variant, it’s humongous in size and excellent on ride quality, my family and friends just love it.

Hexa, Marazzo came to invade the MPV segment ruled by Innova and then failed drastically (NTP : MPVs are used basically as a tourer and where everyone never want them to give a breakdown or other issues 😌)

We have XM+ 2019 model. Best comfort car. I tried 3rd row of XUV 700, Innova, Marazzo. But Hexa's 3rd row is unbeatable.

Finally HEXA review ♥️♥️. I have been looking for it everywhere and in Bangalore it's in huge demand. Unfortunately most of the HEXA were purchased by car rental companies and they have been kept in poor condition which are on sale 😭
